Moving diagonally is not hard.

The problem is that there are four diagonals:
Down and to the right Assuming that you want to move diagonally down and to the right, the algorithm is to continually increment both indices (row, column) until either one is out of range. Down and to the left Assuming that you want to move diagonally down and to the left, the algorithm is to increment row while decrementing column, until either one is out of range. Up and to the right Assuming that you want to move diagonally up and to the right, the algorithm is to decrement row while increment column, until either one is out of range. Up and to the left. Assuming that you want to move diagonally up and to the left, the algorithm is to decrement both row and column, until either one is out of range.

For the opposite direction you need to do

import numpy as np matrix = [row.split(" ") for row in a.split("\n")[1:]] lrmatrix = np.fliplr(matrix) for i in range(-19, 19+1): print(np.diagonal(lrmatrix, offset=i))
3. .Apex. reacted to Stahlmann in RmX 850 constant idle hum?
The RMX series are very high-quality and my own RMX 850W does not make the slightest noise whatsoever. The only thing i can hear from my PC is some GPU coil whine when under load. Your PSU is marketed as silent because the fan will only kick in when it's under heavier load. At idle the fan is off.

But what @.Apex. said could also be true. I never knew coil whine even existed until i really started to optimize my PC for silence. I'm now at a point where GPU coil whine is the loudest part of my PC lol.

I've used numpy to make it simple

Hold on, you have Game Mode enabled, isn't that supposed to disable one of your CCD's? that's why you're getting half the cores

Hmm strange, maybe it's the AF model of the 1600 which is based on 2nd Gen, but either way I'd still recommend to turn off XMP/DOCP to see if that fixes it, I still wouldn't recommend running 3200Mhz on 2nd Gen either as that has been problematic for some, if disabling XMP fixes it then check if it's the AF model on the box and if it is, then lower the RAM frequency manually to 3000Mhz, and if it's not then lower it to 2933Mhz.

10. .Apex. got a reaction from Prodigy_Smit in Less performance than a pc a bit worse than mine?
It is likely the higher performance on his build is because of the better CPU, in Singlecore at least which is what CSGO relies on, the 2400G is based on 1st Gen Ryzen and it was never impressive at gaming in particular.

Though I would guess that you both should have higher FPS in CSGO, I'm not familiar with the game so I don't know

Here's a reference list to see why this disparity between programs is happening, some developers probably didn't bother updating their programs so they were showing the wrong value, they should show the Real Clock instead

Effective Clocks:
GDDR3 = 2X Real Clock
GDDR5 = 4X Real Clock
GDDR5X = 8X Real Clock
GDDR6 = 8X Real Clock
GDDR6X = 16X Real Clock

Cannot confirm for MSI boards if they have an option to turn off RGB in BIOS, but in the case of ASUS they do have an option to do that, I would assume that it would be similar

https://www.msi.com/faq/motherboard-3532

Those two posts contradict themselves so I'm not sure what to believe

Install AMD Chipset drivers first, and it should also give you the option to switch to AMD specific Power Plans, it is important to how the CPU functions in Windows, nothing else other than that I believe, and yes you should always update the BIOS

I know LAN will install by itself, but the default Audio drivers Windows installs may not give you full functionality so you'd have to install them from MSI's website on the page specific to your motherboard, but it isn't necessary for either as it should work out of the box
14. .Apex. got a reaction from voiha in Overclocking GTX 1080 G1 Gaming is pushing +1500MHz on memory ok?
Edited my previous post to fix a mistake, but yeah it's impossible to damage your card with overclocking because you have no ability to adjust the voltage, you will get crashes but the card will recover normally after as long as you don't set the overclock to apply on startup
15. .Apex. got a reaction from voiha in Overclocking GTX 1080 G1 Gaming is pushing +1500MHz on memory ok?
Yes it is likely that Furmark is just not stressing the memory enough, and it is more likely that the memory reading is an effective clock value, the actual value of 1500Mhz would be 750Mhz in that case and that sounds more reasonable.

17. .Apex. got a reaction from fpdlskf in How much \$\$ is reasonable for this used PC ?
350-400 US\$ at best I'd say, most of the cost is from the GPU alone.
18. .Apex. got a reaction from PrateekPanwar64 in Please Bring back Auto Captions on your videos
That might be the case, I'm not sure how long it's supposed to take, but it has been 19 hours for the M1 video so I doubt it'd take that long
19. .Apex. got a reaction from Levent in Are gpu's becoming rapidly weaker over time compared to the past?
Vega GPUs were outdated when they launched so it's not a realistic outlook on the state of GPU performance improvements over the years, a 2016 GPU like the GTX 1070 performs the same as a Vega 56, so you're talking about a 4 year old GPU at this point, AMD only just started reaching NVIDIA with their RDNA architecture

21. .Apex. got a reaction from Sai Ganesh in Ryzen 3700X MSI X570-A PRO Wont boot
your PC seems to have posted successfully but it was stuck on boot because there's no Windows to load, I suggest you use a different monitor since some monitors have weird issues with displaying the BIOS screen and it would skip directly to Windows, but since there's no Windows it can't do that (or it's not configured properly to boot Windows), you could try putting a Windows USB key and see if it boots into Windows Installation
22. .Apex. got a reaction from handymanshandle in Why isn't Slow Motion audio real?
Because slowing down audio would slow down the frequency and therefor you'd only be listening to a few Hz rumble which isn't discernible and you'd probably not be able to hear it anyway as humans cannot hear below 20Hz
23. .Apex. got a reaction from Downkey in Please Bring back Auto Captions on your videos
It seems to be disabled on LTT's videos, you don't have the option to turn it on

Edit: Actually from the last 10 videos it's only disabled on the latest "Apple M1" video and the "Ultimate RGB Tech Support Challenge" so I would guess that it's a mistake

2nd Edit: only the manual subtitles are available, none of their recent videos have the auto generated ones, so it isn't a mistake
