Understandable, although I figured I'd mention it even and especially if playing UHD Blu-rays was a goal, too.
For the love of god, PLEASE do not listen to that dude. Your APU will be just fine on its stock cooler. Even the big daddy OEM 4750G would be just fine on any rational cooler that can cool any old Ryzen 7.

That's the thing, the streaming service is compressing the heck out of 4K contents.

I personally haven't had the opportunity to experience it myself but understanding that its a giant difference in quality from streaming compared to a full size 4K content that's well above 40GB in size.

I sincerely doubt video playback for hours is any more demanding on the APU than playing actual games, which people tend to do for hours on end.

I would not be concerned about heat. This thing is going to be working as intended with the supplied cooler.

What you described is basically propaganda and yeah, it absolutely works.
Well a good way to eliminate bias is to have algorithms that are biased in equal and opposite ways, so in the end the bias kind of cancels out. Not to mention that the algorithms can be tweaked by their creators if they don't work as intended, so with some tweaking, making an algorithm that isn't very biased shouldn't be that hard for a company as big as twitter.

You do have to think of this from the OPs point of view. Its very hard to be able to set aside "sub-optimal" living conditions for a "greater tomorrow", especially if you are struggling to feed yourself, I wouldn't call this a negative outlook on life either, OP has found himself in a all-round bad situation but is clearly trying to face up to reality and get out there in the job market. However I do agree with what you are saying about being optimistic, having a plan and looking after money properly and smartly. My advice would be to really try and get out there and start working it out step by step, even if its just having to start taking online courses and taking on a low paid job.

To be criminal has to have intent. So yeah, you're correct. But fault can still be assessed even if its just negligence.

When you're developing AI, you're effectively using it to replace direct human control. IMHO, that's just pure negligence to assume it can substitute human judgement. Any reasonable person would tell you it can't.

    AI is just a tool.

BTW, there's all sorts of regulations with regards to fault tolerance and safety when it comes to aircraft and medical grade equipment. It's the litigation that makes it so expensive. Don't be surprised if similar criteria is required for social media. All it would take is additional legislation.

Well, that's the entire argument over Section 230. "Big Tech" wants their cake and eat it too. There are tomes of papers on that argument, and it's still not over.

I don't see an issue with this. Just don't put that near your devices that keep you alive? Don't stand near the fridge doors as well then.

Buy the 980 Ti and flip the 1050 Ti. It'd be a decent step-up against that 1050 Ti anyways.
For reference, 980 Tis seem to be hitting around the $170-200 mark while 1050 Tis sit around $120-150? Those mid-range GPUs of yesteryear are doing quite well on places like eBay, unusually.

Considering how high GPU prices are right now. Buy the 980ti and sell the 1050ti for a markup to save some of that cost.

Usually OEMs will just use retail motherboards but with custom BIOSes (and by extension, creating their own SKUs for the motherboards)

Check ibuypower's website for BIOS updates there specifically instead of ASRock.

I don't drink at all ... Well at least not alcohol.  (I do ingest a lot of dihydrogen monoxide, though. And idk if it counts, but I've probably swallowed a little bit of mouthwash too )

Closest I've come to it was a time at a church I visited, they were doing Communion and passed around the stuff used for that.  There was a choice of grape juice, or wine.  Based on the taste, I probably got the wine.

Anyway though... I'd guess that if you added up all the alcohol I've ever swallowed in my life, it would probably not be enough to get someone under 21 in the USA busted for DUI.

I've had a bit of a desire to get an SMB setup for my PS2 working concerning the ability to play games on OPL. So I caved and bought a router at a thrift store for $9: I ended up with this Asus RT-N66R router.

And on another note, I finally caved and bought some leggings... they're rather nice...

handymanshandle reacted to tim0901 in Are there any ways to get legal ROM's?
Then i'm afraid the answer is "no". Without physical copies of the games, you aren't going to be able to legally aquire ROMs of them. They were never distributed digitally due to their age, so all ROMs that exist were ripped from a cartridge/disk. Sharing those ROMS is piracy, so the only legal way to aquire one is to rip it yourself - which necessitates you owning a copy.
