  1. I could swear I answered, but I guess I didn't press submit, my bad Unfortunately, I don't have access to one as I find them useless and thus throw them out immediately. I finally have a day off tomorrow so I'll try opening it and seeing if it's the monitor itself that has died or just the buttons and throw an update in the post incase someone stumbles on this in the future.
  2. Hi fellas, my monitor won't turn on. I have an older Samsung S24D340 (one of the ones with the shitty touch buttons) used as a secondary monitor. It has been working fine without any problems or weird behaviour, even the buttons worked fine when I last used them, which was around a month ago. I usually leave it on when I power off my PC, as it goes on standby and turns the panel off and turns back on when I power on my PC. But last night I unplugged the powerstrip it's plugged into whilst the monitor was on standby so the monitor turned off and today it won't turn on. I
  3. I would love to see a Tech Quickie episode on networking. More specifically on IP addresses, subnet masks, network prefixes, host parts and what all of these are used for.
  4. Hi guys! Got a bit of a problem here. I recently bought a used iPhone 7 off of Facebook. The phone works great, everything works great; all the buttons, 3D Touch, microphone, speakers, mobile data, everything except two things - WiFi and Bluetooth. I have an unlimited data plan, so I didn't notice this right away, but the WiFi signal seems to be incredibly weak, when I'm standing next to the router, I have only 2 bars (out of 3), if I'm even a few feet away it drops to one and won't even connect (comes up as incorrect password, even tough I'm 100% sure it's correct). 5. CMStorm Devastator (first one) and Superlux HD668B headphones with some cheap-o Canyon mic
  6. Im using the first devestator k&m combo. I want it because it's mechanical and has RGB leds.
  7. Both cards are 2gb. One is more expensive by ~£50. http://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B00FTV4L2S?keywords=Gigabyte%20R9%20270x&qid=1437721292&ref_=sr_1_1&sr=8-1 or http://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B00HA3444I?psc=1&redirect=true&ref_=ox_sc_act_title_3&smid=AN4O4IKO17KHR
  8. Both of the Saphire cards on Amazon are not Internationally shipped, so Saphire isn't a option.
  9. I just don't have the case in this PCPartPicker, and i am re-using my HDDs from my current toaster.
  10. http://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B00FSD4XMA or http://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B00HA3444I these two are the ones i am looking at right now. The full system is going to look like this - http://uk.pcpartpicker.com/p/ZNNgf7 .
  11. Okay, thanks guys! I will make a separate post about choosing the right manufacturer!
  12. Ohh, well he had it in his signature. Yea i won't be running games on 1080p any time soon either, i have a 4:3 monitor. So my goto res is 1280x960 atm. So i can expect higher frame-rates then 1080p benchmarks, right?
  13. No i'm fine, Thanks tho. What about the different manufacturers? MSI, Saphire etc.? I am currently looking at theese two - http://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B00HA3444I?psc=1&redirect=true&ref_=ox_sc_act_title_1&smid=AN4O4IKO17KHR or http://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B00FSD4XMA?keywords=R9%20270x&qid=1437655135&ref_=sr_1_3&sr=8-3
