Djole123 got a reaction from Tamesh16 in First Snapdragon 888 phone to be the Xiaomi Mi 11, December 28th launch confirmed
With the all new flagship Snapdragon 888 launched, we are expecting many new phones to launch next year, however the first one is set to be announced this year, on December 28th.

The Xiaomi Mi 11 is tipped to be visually similar to its predecessor, the Mi 10, however with a camera rearrangement and updated internals it's set to be a proper 2021 flagship.

Along with the SoC upgrades, we can also expect a battery and refresh rate bump.

As of now, the launch is China-exclusive, however history tells us we can expect a global variant in the coming months aswell.

Although you said it has no bad sectors, I personally wouldn't trust a Maxtor hard drive, especially not one that's just about to celebrate its 16th birthday. You could keep it as a collector's item, or perhaps find an IDE to SATA adapter and perhaps use it for less important data.

    1. If you're getting the 2700X, why not just get the 3700X for the same money?
    2. The motherboard and RAM might be a little too expensive
    3. The PSU is a bit overkill
    4. Do you really need Windows 10 Pro? Unless you plan on getting more than 128GB of RAM, Windows 10 Home should be just fine.

If you don't trust the software that much, I would suggest installing a VM and a VPN. Disable the webcam in the VM (either by going to the Device Manager of the VM and disabling it or by just straight up not installing the drivers), and that way you'll be pretty much safe.

I think it will work. But first, I would suggest deactivating your current Windows 10 machine by running slmgr.vbs /upk and slmgr.vbs /cpky.

Wait about 24h, and try to activate the new machine. You might have luck and it could work just fine.

Pointless to ask if you're not going to give us your budget. Cheap to one person is not cheap to another.
    Therefore, I'll recommend the 9600k. It's only $200.

Djole123 got a reaction from Tan3l6 in Is My graphic card working properly or not?
It may not even be the CPU or the GPU, a lot of the times the issue boils down to a faulty PSU. If you have another one lying around or have someone with a rig to test it, do that first before dropping $300 on a new CPU/GPU only to maybe get the same issue

I've had a 24" wheeled one for a very long time, I (literally) outgrew it years ago, but kept using it until last year and decided to retire it after almost a decade of it being in service. What an amazing bike.
I'm currently saving up for a 29" wheeled one, which I hope can take as much beating as that thing did

Honestly, for the target res of 1080p, the RX590 is plenty enough, a 2070 is a bit overkill for that. Unless, of course, you're planning to use ray-tracing or higher resolutions like 1440p or 4K.

Djole123 got a reaction from robotix2211 in any recommended upgrades?
The build seems quite alright, though my suggestion would be to upgrade the RAM to 32GB and, provided you have the budget for it, a higher refresh rate monitor.

How can this 730G based phone even have a Poco badge attached to it? Such a lame device. I really hope Poco releases an 865 phone, otherwise it will be a disasterous year for them.
