Would have been quicker to just say a years supply of RTX 3080's.

The Gaming Plus Max is a far better board. If it's cheaper, then it's a no-brainer.

P.S. Get the Ryzen 5 3600, not the 3600X. You're literally paying for a letter in the name.

Best you can do is try ordering an RX 6800 on 25th, when AIB models launch for sale. The best advice I can give you is try getting a model from Sapphire, XFX or PowerColor, as those AIBs have priority in GPU allocation from AMD, as they're AMD exclusive partners. Because of that other brands that also make Nvidia cards like MSI, Gigabyte or ASUS will probably be even harder to get.

Morgan MLGman got a reaction from kirashi in is 1 gygbite eaternet faster then wifi
Not true. Most relatively new devices use WiFi "5", called 802.11ac. It supports theoretical speeds up to 1.3Gbps. Latest WiFi 6 (802.11ax) is much faster.
WiFi 5 also supports faster transfer rates.

Not by today's standards but if reliability is a must you can't beat a solid cable.

Also you could easily get wired equipment faster than Gigabit (10/40/100Gbps).

Morgan MLGman got a reaction from Psittac in Win10 HDR multiple monitor
HDR is still extremely limited for normal content - to use HDR with things like YouTube, you need to use Google Chrome, same with Netflix (although for that you can use the W10 app instead too)

I have an HDR 400 Vesa certified monitor myself, but I'm only using that feature in certain games, and don't use that with Windows or online content since it's not so good yet.

I'm using a Cooler Master vertical GPU kit in my O11 Dynamic.

It's decent overall and pretty cheap, but if you've got tall RAM modules, you may have issues mounting fans at the bottom of the case, if you have a radiator at the bottom then it probably wouldn't fit at all.

Morgan MLGman got a reaction from GamerBlake in Your thoughts on AC: Odyssey? 🤔
Quite a nice game, should be better optimized in terms of performance. The main story is great, the DLCs are not as great but still good and I personally like the shift towards RPG/Mercenary type game, instead of only Assassin stuff that was in the old AC games. Although this shift caused the "modern" plot to be quite useless in this iteration. I don't personally mind though.

I never said anything about punishing anyone. I merely explained one of the reasons why the US Government may be involved with Google, because someone asked that question.
Really? I honestly haven't met any in my country, neither in private, nor in professional life. Keep in mind that I work as an IT professional and if anyone, it would be me who knew such people. "Most people" is quite a generalization without any data to back it up.

Morgan MLGman got a reaction from sbllime in Justice Department to sue Google over search dominance
Maybe Bing, or Yahoo are popular and used in the US. I guarantee you that pretty much nobody uses those in Europe because they're terrible for searching stuff here. In my country, Google has pretty much exclusivity. And how many people actually search for simple stuff in three different search engines? That's unrealistic, and frankly quite naive thinking.

Morgan MLGman got a reaction from sbllime in Justice Department to sue Google over search dominance
I don't think you understood what I said. Let me give you an example - what if there were, say two competing candidates in an election. What if Google, as the largest search engine in the world decided that they preferred one of the candidates over the other, and adjusted their search engine so when people googled the names of the candidate it mostly showed negative coverage of one candidate, and a mostly positive one of the other?
How could you verify that they were actually doing that, and how would you prevent such behavior?

Please note that this is only speculation and a theoretical example. I'm not asserting that Google is actually doing that or has ever considered that.
Any actual sources for that "guarantee"?

Morgan MLGman reacted to porina in AMD is confident there won't be availability issues with the RX 6000 series when it launches
We've only been given a date for the announcement, but we don't have a date for when people can buy. I'd argue they could still vary that if they see demand, and build up more stock to match if needed.

Bonus points if anyone can work out what the typical time gap is between previous AMD product announcements and when you can actually buy it. Let's see if this follows that pattern, or if it is longer.
