Since Eigenvektor already answered your Question.. may I ask what the usecase is (just out of curiosity)?
Just wondering why you would want to test your peripherals on a win7 machine if the machine you are using it on is win10.

You should be able to pass through USB devices to it:

it's hard to measure because Sophos AV's have multiple components running at the same time as different processes. Sophos is very light though

People normally use cable ties or zipties to cable manage anything. My Razer Kraken came with its own rubber cable ties when I bought it. I bundled my cables up nice and neat and since I put my mic and headphone jacks into the front I/O, I just set my cables on my desk away from my body. May get in the way of my arm sometimes but at least I do not hear the nasty rubbing sounds of the cables.

Razer just released out with the new BlackShark V2 ($99.99) and V2 X ($59.99) It has got some good to decent reviews. The mic is detachable. Good for gaming, I do not know about music. It's not like the Razer Kraken do not worry, it's lightweight and it's not tight to the point it will crush your skull. (Unless you have an insanely massive skull).

The BlackShark V2 is said to be better than the Kraken. And it's only just been released.

arctis 7 is actually pretty good decent for com[petitive gaming really flat and ingeneral not at all exciting for music. the 371 is what I recommended and will still reccomend. the other reccomendation I can make right now would be the sivga sv 006

The arctis 1 is comparable to the 371 in gaming performance which isn't great. And even worse for music. I would take a cloud core or a takstar pro 82 which is pretty great for gaming over it any day

In that case I really like the akg k371 might be above budget though but floats around that price range sometimes lower. Sound signature to me is pretty ideal for your tastes. Another alternative maybe the akg k361 definitely  in your budget lacks too much bass for my tastes but mids and treble is pretty awesome. The m40x is also a decent choose provided pads are upgraded as well as the takstar pro 82. The pro 82 is the best here for gaming but as a match for your music tastes imo the 371 is my first pick.

Some say it's up to 95% of running native- and i'd probably agree in graphical processes. You lose some CPU power (1,2k from Cinebench, I think native was 1,5k) but I haven't had perfomance issues running TF2 and IL2 anyways LOL

    Well i'm glad you asked.
I switched completely on Linux some time back because I started learning network administartion and had found the quality of Windows 10 unacceptable. It's the little things.

I've had great time on Gentoo Linux and CentOS as opposed to Windows 10 or Server 2016.

But sometimes you just need Windows; Microsoft Office, most video games, Adobe, Vegas Pro, Active Directory. For then i'll fire up a VM and we're back to the OP.

For 1 year now I've used Windows in qemu/kvm on my Linux desktop without any fiddly or janky factors. Production ready if to say.

I'm on a Intel platform, using the iGPU for Linux and a Nvidia GPU for the VM. They're connected to a common screen, so I just need to switch the monitor's input to change between them.
I found virtual sound cards to work(?) quite poorly, so I got a extra PCI soundcard so I can pass a physical one to the VM.
For input i'm running Barrier, a fork of the old Synergy. Also I passed a USB controller on my mobo so I have a few USB ports.
Networking is done by making a bridge on your host and assigning the VM to it. For mass storage I passed a SSD using /dev/disk/by-uuid/. I'm sharing my /home to the VM using samba.

It's a bit of work to get everything running the first time but after it's configured, it justworks(tm).

I honestly don't see why wouldn't they want to upgrade to Win10. It was even a free option a while ago, to simply use your Win7 licence key for Win10 activation.
And it's not a bad Windows version by any means ... at least that's my opinion.

Oh darn ill miss out on cortana... and microsoft edge.... and my files wont randomly disappear after an update. What a shame.

I may be cherry picking , but the cold hard truth is if the new os doesnt do anything better for me , why would I want it?

I gave it a trial run one time on a spare machine and.... short of it pegging the hdd to 100% almost constantly I saw very little different from what I actually want. Ill eventually be forced to use it but im going to enjoy every last bit of windows 7.

A lot of arguing in this thread of politics being in games, and games shouldn't be political. I feel like its missing a greater point. Of course games are political, all art is, but until around 2013 there was not a concerted effort to force ALL games to be politically correct to the left wing Western audience. There are many different political viewpoints and thoughts, but only one won't get you attacked by the games media!

Cyberpunk is not going to be politically correct for Western Leftists, and the attempts to force it to be by games journalists are despicable and evil. Sorry Games Journos, your attempt at bullying CD Projekt Red into conforming to your political viewpoint has failed.
