Hey guys, not a question or discussion here, just trying to post this on the internet for the next person that is looking.

I recently went on a business trip with my Logitech G935 headset. I use THIS USB-C to USB-A adapter to plug the wireless adapter into my phone. Anyway, getting to the point I accidentally left the adapter in our rental car. No problem, I lost the adapter for my older Logitech G933s before and just bought a new adapter from logitech's site. HOWEVER Logitech does not sell the adapter for the G935s! I still had my Logitech G933 laying around so I tried to pair the 933 adapter to my 935 headset AND IT WORKED!!!!!

TLDR If you lose your Logitech G935 wireless adapter just buy one of the retally available G933 adapters and it will sync up. It wont fit in the ear cup holder, but I never use that anyway.

    ------EDIT------
Just a follow up. I called Logitech support and they shipped me a new adapter for free. So that's an option too.

Wow, thanks for the wright up. That was more than I expected, and you mentioned more details than I thought to look for. Is that something that you wrote up yourself, or is there a user benchmarks esk site for keyboards?

No huge surprise, I think i'll grab the Tai-How set for now, but i'm actually more interested in possibly picking up the GMK set in the future. I do have a few Cherry MX keyboards as I keep one in my bag with my laptop so I could have a set on each.

Hey there. Both are fine options, and I think your purchasing decision here depends on your budget and personal preferences.

...Wait, I feel like I just stated the obvious. What I mean is this:

GMK Miami (Available for $176.00 *Sold Out* on Originative, or for $190.00 on Mechanical Keyboards)
ABS Material: Usually, I don't recommend ABS, but GMK makes their keycaps thick and sturdy. The color on GMK's ABS keycaps are also more vivid compared to Tai-Hao's PBT alternatives. Surface finish is smooth. Unfortunately, they're still susceptible to 'ABS shine' that develops from frequent contact with the keycap's surface -- a huge deterrent for me, and partly why I don't like recommending ABS keycaps. Depending on your fingers/skin chemistry, shine can take anywhere from two weeks to months to appear. Double-Shot Legends: Keycap and legends are made from separate pieces of plastic. Even if 'shine' develops on the keycaps, the lettering should still be visible. Cherry Profile: Sculpted keycaps with a level surface and a slightly lower profile and shorter height compared to OEM profile keycaps (see image in spoilers below for a visual comparison). The F and J keycaps in particular have a rounded indent to them -- Originative calls this "scooped." Snug Fit: Likely a non-issue for you if you use Cherry MX switches, but if you plan to switch to Kailh BOX switches in the future, Originative has the following disclaimer:
Tai-Hao Miami (Available for $49.00 on Mechanical Keyboards - Option 1, Option 2, Amazon, or for $45.00 on KPrepublic)
PBT Material: Tai-Hao makes keycaps with relatively thin PBT material. The color on Tai-Hao's PBT keycaps are more washed-out/duller compared to GMK's ABS alternative. Surface finish is slightly matte/rougher in feel. Uncertain whether the thinness of Tai-Hao's keycaps affect their long-term durability. Double-Shot Legends: Keycap and legends are made from separate pieces of plastic. Combined with the PBT material, Tai-Hao's keycap set should be considerably more resistant to 'shine' compared to GMK's set. I believe the Tai-Hao Miami's legends are backlit/shine-through, but please don't quote me on this. I'm fairly certain the GMK Miami's legends are completely opaque, though. OEM Profile: Sculpted keycaps with a level surface (see image in spoilers below for a visual comparison).
    Keycap Profiles

TLDR: The GMK Miami keycaps are the 'luxury' option, with bright colors, thick material, and a smooth surface finish. The Tai-Hao Miami keycaps are the budget-friendly option, with more subdued colors, thinner material, and a more textured surface finish. Can't say anything certain about the durability of either keycap sets, they both have their respective faults (ABS shine for GMK, thin material for Tai-Hao).

Not really. I'm just curious about the potential of it happening without them being open about it. Doesn't seem like something they would do. At the same time I'm doubting Facebook just as much, their descriptions are never very good on anything.

hey guys, I've been talking about this a lot in the Discord but I thought I'd share it on the form as a way to archive it to the internet. A number of months ago people started talking about LAN shelves. At the time I have no idea what they were but I started looking into them and thought it would be fun to bring one to LTX. A few weeks later I was thinking about it and realized that since my boss just bought a plasma cutter table I could make something really cool out of steel. A couple more weeks went by and I made up a blueprint to cut it out with. I then figured out I could fit two of them on a 4-ft by 8-ft sheet of steel and figured they'd be decently strong from 10 gauge material (it turned out that 10 gauge was great. It's a bit on the heavy side but this thing is freaking invincible. You can stand on it jump on it do whatever you want and it'll be perfect). a few weeks later I bought that sheet of steel for about $165 and here we are now a couple days after that and a few days before LTX and I got to cut it out. There was an error in cutting one of the pieces out so I only ended up with one usable LAN shelf which is unfortunate but it's still enough for just me, maybe I'll make more to sell next year. Anyway I think it looks great, tell me what you guys think. The top photos are all of what I made and the photo at the bottom is the LAN shelf I got my inspiration from. Feel free to ask questions. Originally I was going to powder coat it LMG orange but I didn't have time for that in the end. I'm not really disappointed though because I still think it looks pretty dang awesome just as raw steel. The best part is it isn't welded together at all, it just is all slid together. With that all the pieces come apart so it's flat and easy to store and transport, but once it's put together it's damn near invincible.

Please do correct me if I'm wrong but looking around the internet I can't find any other steel LAN shelf so I'm going to claim this to be the internet's first steel LAN shelf.

You only get 3 ft worth of desk space so the point of a LAN shelf is to free up more space by putting your desktop above your monitor. It also helps to prop your desktop up higher to show it off if you have cool water cooling or something.

@CPotterAsked this the day tickets released on the LTX twitter, with no response, and am asking again in hopes to get an answer.

In my hurry to get my BYOC ticket, I didn't see that it included a 2 day pass to LTX. Therefore, I bought an extra 2 day ticket that I have no intention of using. Is there a way for me to receive a refund for this extra 2 day pass or am I allowed to sell it to someone for the price I paid for it? I don't want the ticket to go to waste, given the mentions several times on WAN show of worries of tickets selling out soon, and also would prefer not to be out the extra $50 plus tax/fees.

Doing some VERY rough math (not at all scientific)

    8,339,737 LTT subscribers

If 0.1% of that group cares about LTX, you'll have 8300 raging nerds trying to get tickets.
If 2% of that group REALLY wants VIP tickets, you're looking at 166 raging nerds trying to get tickets. This assumes 0 of them have significant others or friends they want to take with them.

The 20 VIP tickets sold out almost instantly.
