      Solution: post images in ascii format

  2. This is my first custom loop.  Just did the GPU.  Will figure out the CPU later.

  4. Source: https://www.tomshardware.com/amp/news/asrock-m2-graphics-card I could see this good for really small builds that want a gpu with more power than an IGPU. If this could be better called a video accelerator card to give an extra boost to performance. With some development I think this could be used to great effect in small cheep laptops found in big box stores to give them a better edge. I do understand that this version is meant for "Legacy Connection" But it could be really cool for all kinds of cool stuff. Perhaps even for video editing. I
  5. Google terms of service changing for accounts older than 2 years. They are updating there terms to allow them to delete content on those accounts. This is an update to their previous 18 months as seen in this wired article from july https://www.wired.com/story/google-auto-delete-data/ Quotes I could see this targeted to users of large compacity. This could be an attempt to push users to a paid solution from google who use drives as a backup service that they don't access for years at a time but who knows. Sources
  6. I took a trip to a local waterfall today.  I had some fun and took a few pictures

    I started my edit in B&W and to my surprise when I turned B&W off the subject was pulled away from the background a whole lot more. I then further brightened some stuff and made a few more changes. It just goes to show how much further an image can be pushed in the edit.

  8. I finished my Grassy hill animation https://youtu.be/RZmJlxbGsCw

    It took 28 hours to render all the frames.  Its my second scene in what I hope is one of many more to come :)

    I did all this in blender.

  9. I looked a the different thread options but I didn't see a better place to put this. I was thinking of a cool video idea for LTT would be a competition between two masters on making a video intro but the twist is: Master 1 would be allowed to use Blender, gimp, and audacity. Master 2 would be allowed to use after effects, audition, and photoshop. I have been learning blender for a year and I have found making video intros is kinda cool in blender. I have also used after effects and found cool stuff can be done there. The design that the par
  10. #birdphotography I took in January 2020. These pictures were taken on a film lens at around 270mm f4.5. The camera body was the Canon SL2. Please enjoy.

  13. I practice photography. I took this pic tonight on a film lens on my canon 200D (sl2).  Its at 230mm at f22.  Focus is set at infinity.  ISO was at 100 and the shutter speed was at 1/21 seconds. Its an APC sensor so the crop factor is 1.6 brining the focal length to 368mm.  I edited it in Adobe Lightroom. <https://stock.adobe.com/contributor/207691084/Daniel>

      @GDRRiley Nah, i don't think so. 21 secs is way too long of an exposure time for such a close up, the moon actually moves pretty fast, so it would be blur city.

      1/21 seems okay for the level of blur on his photo.

      @GDRRiley @Origami Cactus

      This is an old film lens that has quite severe chromatic aberration at the faster stops.  I actually took many pics at all various of settings, but this pic seemed the sharpest.  I took pics from f4.5 to f22 and noticed that I could not tell much difference between f11 through f22.  This of course is all manual.  I also took a video of the moon and it does indeed cross the night sky quickly. https://youtu.be/CabB8m-ClFM

      The moon is quite bright against the night sky.

      @rubberpuppy Nice lens!

      And yeah the picture is still quite good, just a tiny bit blurry, but with and old lens it can be understandable.

      Also your quoting didn't work for some reason, it should look orange and stuff, not normal text.
