Oh no...Sony's doing a black Friday sale on their Xperia 1 II and 5 II reducing both by £200 (from £1000/800 to 800/600).

Awwwwwwwh, it's so beautiful, my new 29.5 inch 2560x1080@200Hz (albeit HDMI 2.0 only supports 75Hz? Need a DP cable...) VA monitor ❤️. Now the question is do I keep my BenQ XL2410T (10 years old 24" TN 1080p@120Hz) or BL2420PT (4 years old, 24" IPS 1440p@60Hz) as the second monitor? Thinking to sell the 1080p@120Hz as the 1440p IPS works aaaaaaaalot better as a secondary and primary (if not gaming).

Probably gonna keep it at 144Hz so some of the motion blur is reduced (it's pretty evident at 200Hz but not so bad at 120/144Hz)

- Buys a 1080 Ti
- Proceeds to use it mainly to play osu!

A version of it finally exists in the UK! Looks like my decade old XL2410T will finally get some rest  
 
As for the reported ghosting (on the what? 3 or 4 monitors that I suspect uses the exact same panel), I'll probs just run it at 120Hz or 144Hz which should help to reduce some of it but I mean the XL2410T isn't ghost free so I suspect I probably won't even notice it all that much. Now I just need to wait until 9th Oct as it is preorder...

I'm ready to kick MSI's ass. Why on earth is my M.2 slot on my B350 mobo using M1.7 screws/standoffs? Gotta be the stupidest thing I've ever seen! Lost the original M1.7 screw so ended up going through my whole screws bin (thankfully I have some 1.7s) but then had the issue their M1.7 screw not being "standard" (wider heads so it actually contacts the SSD) so the heads on the screws I had weren't wide enough to hold down the SSD 🤦‍♂️. Ended up just cutting a little cardboard to use as a spacer...(don't have any M1.7 spacers on hand...for ovbious reasons). 
 
On the brightside, with it now properly mounted, my SSD runs 5 to 10C cooler!  

Hold on...on a free account, soundcloud on web browser doesn't have ads but the soundcloud app on mobile is littered  with ads every 5 seconds. Hmmmm...interesting...

Screw it, time to use my 4G connection...even if it means I end up using 1 out of the 8GB I have per month...
