  1. So I got an email about a day or so ago from Performance PCs, and they told me that Hardware Labs, my preferred brand/company for radiators for my water-cooled PC, won't be able to ship out their next batch until the end of May.

    ย

And if they did do that, Performance PCs won't be getting any stock from them until some time in June.

Feels bad man. I want to add another 480mm Hardware Labs Black Ice SR2 MP to max out my Corsair 900D ๐Ÿ˜ญ

    ย

I also got everything else, a day late from the scheduled delivery date from FedEx e7432700100cf0f778bfbaf364947b91.png

    ย

But also I forgot to get extra fittings, and I had to buy a replacement bottle of EK-Cryofuel Concentrate because I misplaced the other one I had on hand like an idiot.

Things like this happen, and it sucks. You might want to get a new case, the 900D is old, and might not be the best case to show off your watercooling loop.ย

I do plan on that. The case I have my eyes on is the Lian Li PC-V3000+. As Lian Li hasn't released any further details I'm sure it'll launch as late as Q4 2021.

  2. I'm getting a monoblock for my motherboard, as well as a 240mm HW Labs SR2 MP radiator.

    ย

The 480mm radiator version has been out of stock for a long time. Don't know when it'll be back in stock, but when it is, I am snapping one up before it inevitably goes out of stock again.

  3. I'm sorting through my 3TB and 8TB hard drives. The 8TB drive will become my archive drive.

    ย

My folder structure is absolutely fucked ๐Ÿ˜ญ๐Ÿ˜‚

    ย

Like I really need to get better at not making so many duplicates and not structuring them properly.

  4. Got my 1TB WD_BLACK SN850 just now. And I modified the size of the thermal pads to cover only the SanDisk G2 controllers. The NAND flash chips, from what I read, wants to be hot for endurance reasons.ย

I don't think I'd have modified them. They're designed the way they are for a reason.

Seeing this stuff really makes me want to build a new PC ๐Ÿ˜›

  5. Got one of my M.2 SSDs installed. It's frickin' fast ๐Ÿคฏ

  6. Can we all agree that, as @RILEYISMYNAME and others have graciously pointed out, that James O'Keefe manipulates footage such that it misrepresents what the subjects actually said to fit his narrative. Also the various violations of standard journalistic ethics and practises (that a quick Wikipedia read quickly uncovers) only serves to discredit whatever he presents. Especially the lying part. Once the journalist is exposed for a lie they utter in their presentation, any person (with even half a brain) would not trust that journalist anymore than a liar or criminal. Also
  7. Hope I don't regret this purchase with half my stimulus.1968317854_WDBLACKSN850screenshot.png.d484091933739a220800145d74f5e028.png

A pair of WD_BLACK SN850 M.2 PCIe 4.0 SSDs for my system. Time to get on with the times, and relegate my big-ass 8TB spinner as an archive drive, and my 480GB SATA drive as a scratch disk lol. One is 1TB, and the other is 2TB.

      -UPDATE-

Had a hiccup with the transaction, and needed to update my payment method so it can go through. The 1TB drive will arrive Friday, while the 2TB one will arrive tomorrow.

      I wish I got a stimulus check...

Apparently my parents get money for us but I don't get any of it.

Going to my college fund, which I like, but I wish I could get maybe $50 of it.

  8. I remember back in 2016, was where I purchased the first set of components for my X99 system that would become my first build. Then in 2017, was when I made the jump from the EVGA GeForce GTX 960 4GB FTW to the Asus GeForce GTX 1080 Ti 11GB ROG Strix OC, which still stands as one of the best upgrades I ever made. All but the EVGA graphics card were purchased at the San Diego location. I also bought storage drives there as well. The 480GB PNY CS1311 SSD, 3TB WD Red (2016), and 8TB Toshiba HDD (~2019) I run were all purchased there. The last few times I went to a Fry's El
  9. My first time ever running a 3DMark benchmark was back in 2015 ๐Ÿ˜ฎ

And my most recent benchmark I added was Port Royal. I'm getting some good scores with a single GeForce RTX 2080 Ti and my AMD Ryzen 9 3900X.

These were the overclock settings I used to achieve the highest score. The lowest score was without the GPU being overclocked, and both the CPU and GPU were running in Auto mode. My RAM settings were set to the XMP profile of 3,200 MHz, CAS 14-16-16-36, 1.35V

Also what's your specific board variation of the RTX 2080 Ti? I have the EVGA Black Edition.

Mine is just some HP non-A reference board with the Palit 310W BIOS + waterblock.

Oh dear. You're crazy enough to flash a BIOS onto your GPU. That can't be me ๐Ÿ˜‚

  10. I was kind of hoping to purchase a used EVGA GeForce RTX 2080 Ti 11GB Black, along with an Nvidia GeForce RTX NVLink 2 Bridge (3-slot), as well as the same watercooling components currently on my first 2080 Ti...

    ย

But nooooooo, the cards are over USD $600+, and the NVLink 2 Bridges are double the MSRP ๐Ÿ˜ก

  11. If there's is a dream sedan for me (My dream car is honestly the 2011 Mercedes-Benz SLS AMG), then the W221 Mercedes-Benz S 65 AMG (MY 2010-2013 in particular) is it!
