    Prysin got a reaction from libranskeptic in AMD A10-7870K minireview - better Kaveri for enthusiast
    Its steamroller. Godavari is just the "project name". 7870k is a better binned chip.

    As for 7850k, you can easily turn it up to 4.3GHz core clock by just letting AMD Overdrive do its automatic CPU OC thingy.
    As for iGPU, for both of the two 7850k setups ive made, both iGPUs could be set, and be rock solid, at 960MHz without manual voltage increases.....

    Raijintek METIS.

    yes, if you get a SFX PSU you prob can. If not, NO....

    2x 3,5" isnt going to happen. You will only have mounting points for a single 3.5" if you use a 120mm cooler like i did. WIth a 92mm Noctua NH-D9L, which was the previous cooler i was using, you might be able to stack 2x 3,5" HDDs ontop of eachother. you can put the 2,5" HDD between the sidepanel and the PSU....

    Note, i have modded that case a "little".
    Drilled extra ventilation mesh in the top, to let my 950 breathe... without the ventilation holes the 950 was sitting at constant 80C+.. now it barely goes above 65c.... still hot, but nowhere near as bad.

    Ive changed the sidepanel from a shitty tiny window to full side plexi-glass.

    ive modded the mount for the Cryorig H7... That mount is not exactly original... infact let me show you... Yes, that is a AMD Boxed cooler mounting kit. With a bespoke, hand-cut piece of solid 1cm thick COPPER used to make sure the cooler cannot slide around....

    The H7's OG mounts wouldnt let me face the cooler towards the rear, it would only allow to face upwards with that specific FM2+ board. The original board i was using was the Gigabyte A88XFM2+-ITX which was great. BUT!....
    It wouldnt allow for a 120mm cooler + the GPU, as the cooler would interfere with the PCIe slot... Bit of a problem when you only have ONE slot... luckily, i have two FM2+ boards, and TWO APU setups, and a X4 845 lying around... SO.... i just grabbed the other board

    The total specs for that setup is
    CPU -> AMD A10 7870k
    Cooler -> CRYORIG H7 Cooler with 2x Noctua NF-F12 3000rpm PWM IPPC fans
    RAM -> Kingston Savage 2x8GB 2400MHz CL11 DDR3
    Mobo -> ASRock FM2+A88X-ITX -> Wifi module changed from its original Azureware solution to the Intel 7620 module that came with the gigabyte board.
    Storage -> Intel 530 SSD 120GB, HGST 5400rpm 2,5" HDD 500GB
    GPU -> ASUS GTX 950 Mini (plugged)
    PSU -> Corsair RM750 -> modded as intake. OG fan replaced with 140mm 3000rpm Noctua NF-A14 IPPC fan that is controlled by the mobo chassis fan.
    Case -> Raijintek METIS (black)
    Illumination -> 2x AKASA "Vegas" LED strips glued in the top.

    Let us not forget that Roberts was a lead developer for Freelancer and its prequel... he KNOWS how to build space games. he KNOWS how this should be done. He has been watching and sueing the freelancer modding community for YEARS, specifically because they made mods that are now MAGICALLY a core part of SC...

    Yo Trik'Stari,

    I'm really happy for you I'm gonna let you finish, but you actually haven't bought shit if you have not received a finished product. You bought the promise to a game and one with no legal recourse if that promise is never actually fulfilled or only fulfilled partially. This is one of the best scams of all time! One of the best scams of all time!

    The bad game performance is primarily having 1 prefetch for every 2 "cores" and having piss poor cache design.

    First off: Ryzen's IMC is a smoking pile of shit

    Second of all, the GPU is struggling with BAD frametimes:

    Third of all, the CPU isnt that bad:

    Gaming Benchmarks:

    Lukewarm reception. Seems like AMD cannot deliver. Add this ontop of leaks showing terrible battery life and well, Ryzen with "Vega" graphics (worst marketing name EVER) seems to be a dud. Sure it has a strong GPU, and decent CPU, but its in mobile, and its battery life is meh.
