  1. I dont see what the difference is between a normal case fan (Noctua) and a M.2 fan And yes, I will be getting a splitter but that's not the point. It's a band aid fix. Also I reverted back to 2812 and dialled in my fan settings. It still does it, M.2 fan header off when booted to Windows. I upgraded back up to 2816. Dialled in my fan settings but now the settings arent being remembered when saving BIOS settings or F10 The only fan settings being remembered is the CPU fan header, thank god. Also, I noticed that if I set the M.2 fan header to auto (set to PWM Mode
  2. I dont have the CPU fan on the M.2 fan header. I have 2 case fans, one on CHA2 and one on M.2. The CHA2 header is fine. My point is, M.2 Header is being weird
  3. Does anybody know how to provide feedback to ASUS about a BIOS for their motherboard - like a specific channel be it twitter, page or somebody direct? I have a X570 Gaming E and the latest 2816 BIOS. There are some weird things happening with my M.2 Fan Header and settings in the BIOS. I have a Noctua NF-F12 on the M.2 Fan Header, as that's the only one it can reach and yes another is on the CHA2 or 3 whichever is closer it it. Whenever I turn on my PC, so power on mains, press power button; before it gets to Windows, the M.2 fan turns off - completely. The only way to get it back to sp

  5. It is on Balanced on Windows Power Options and doesnt clock down. I do not have Ryzen Master installed. Do I need it? Could that potentially be it? Btw, I am doing all this via the BIOS. LLC set to Level 5. Core Ratio on 46. OCCD or OCPD or whatever, the AMD equivalent to XMP on Intel is on. That's all the settings I have modified so far.
  6. Hello all! I was hoping someone could help me. I'm sure as many of you are doing or will be or hoping to is to be jumping to the AMD platform soon. I have just done and I am have just upgraded to an AMD system from my 7-year old 4770K - and all these AMD is new to me. So I have some questions. I am trying to find my undervolt values as I dont want to be running Auto on the vCore. I have set my frequency to 4.6GHz, vCore currently at 1.125V. I have noticed on CPU-Z my voltage is 1.125V or there abouts but my frequency is pegged at 4.6GHz even on idle. Is this n
  7. Beyerdynamic DT770. or bit more premium and apparently little bit bassier; Beyerdynamic Custom One Pro for open back ones, i highly recommend the DT990 - have it, love it. These are pure headphones but as you said you can use a clip-on mic. Or maybe a modmic is worth looking at

  9. Around 9% increase from my 780 SLI. Pretty nice considering as you said, no SLI niggly problems and also less heat and power I know i would definitely see a performance jump but im trying to find out like a percentage to ease my mind
  10. I ran the free version of 3DMark, so guessing thats FireStrike - where you cannot change any settings. I got 13916 Overall, 19311 Graphics score, 10724 Physics score and 5254 Combined score
  11. Just been looking around and i cant seem to find a definitive answer to this. What is the performance difference between SLI 780 to a 1080?Currently, im running SLI EVGA SC 780, no OC, just WC'd and boost to 1084 max. Looked at TweakTown's 780 SLI vs 980 SLI here and the most recent 1080 reviews particularly from PCper, LTT's video and various other sites.A 1080 and SLI 980 is more or less equal in performance, right?Based on the read articles, 780 SLI vs 980 SLI yields about 19%-26% more performance to the 980s.Therefore, what i've quickly and roughly calculated is that; going to a
  12. Thanks for the reply guys! Sorry it took so long for me to respond to here. I have never really looked into the R5 before but now I have and it seems as though its the best one for my needs. However, based on what i have read, I can go as thick as i want on the top rad BUT i need to look out for the RAM interfering with the rad. As said on the OP, I have Corsair Dominators and im a little bit iffy now as it really may interfere with a 60mm thick rad. +not really looking to change/buy RAM just for the sake of fitting the rad and doesnt make sense for me to buy EOL R
