  1. So this is my new rig, asus 2560x1080 monitor, Razer blackwidow ultimate 2014, naga 2014, orbweaver, and Tiamat 7.1. In the PC is CPU-i5 4690k, PSU- Corsair ax760, Mobo- Gigabyte z97 , GPU- GTX 980, RAM- HyperX 1866 mhz , CPU Cooler- H100i w/ SP 120's. Case- Corsair 250D mini-ITX. I am very happy with this build and I will serve me will for years to come, hopefully
  2. So this is my first time building a PC. I plugged in everything I needed to, got to the UEFI BIOS screen with no problems once there. I then decided to shut down the PC so I could install the final piece ( Blu-ray Drive) . Went to boot and nothing happens. No fans no LED's. I check all power connections and plugs , and now nothing runs. Any ideas would be much appreciated
  3. I recently bought a motherboard from Newegg that said it is 7.1 Audio Channels. However it only has black, green, pink, orange, and blue 3.5 inputs. Now the headphones I bought have all of those jacks except it has gray instead of blue. Is it ok to plug in the gray jack in the blue input and it'll work fine or did I royally waste my money? Any response is much appreciated
  4. http://secure.newegg.com/Shopping/ShoppingCart.aspx What do you think of this build and would the PSU be enough or too much? Thanks to all

  6. It was more of a reply to all who asked the questions but thank you for the info
  7. Truthfully I have really only gotten into pc gaming within the last year. ( Ex-console gamer) So still learning and feel that my system when looking at others just isn't up to par. ( my imagination?) since I don't really know much of the standards.
  8. Ok sorry guys ( in class) firstly addressing my sotrage set-up I currently have a 167GB SSD, as well as a 1TB HDD. Moving on for those of you who think I should get another 7970 would my PSU be alright or should I up that? And as for peripherals I would very much like a new monitor preferably 2560x1440+ , and I have bought the Corsiar K95 and M95.

  11. yea sure And I am pretty sure I just fixed myself lol I followed the cord from the fan through the case up to the controller and wiggled the wires just to make sure that everything was plugged in and turned it back on and I work both the LED and the fan :D and yes It was an LED fan ooops lol Thanks for all of your help especially with pointing me in the right direction for which way to look at the problem.
