The more I think about this the more I get mad because Twitch could have legitimately improved accessibility and usability of their service for blind and visually impaired users (things like a separate text-to-speech channel for chat, high contrast modes or larger UI elements), but instead chose to do a performative activism without consulting any blind or VI users because it's a lot cheaper to do something that helps nobody than hiring accessibility consultants.
If only this Amazon-backed, $15 billion company could afford to do that...
