Took a bit of calculating, but he's saying his car gets 40 compression cycles per 0.49 oz of soluble fat, which would be at 42mpg would be roughly 0.1640625 Miles per hog head. That's assuming his car is that efficient, is optimal speed for compression and only compresses when needed....so it's probably less than that.

    So, You're having a DX12 Problem.

Windows 7 only fixes your issue because it doesn't support DX12.

Well, if they aren't all DX12, then looking at your post you have one other thing in common. 3D gpu workloads, consistent with memory degradation, or overflow.

Watch your memory clocks, voltages, and ensure good temp. DX12 might be more of a problem because of the way the API calls.

It may be as simple as the AMD driver/bios that you had installed however. The switch of OS most likely was just a benefit because of driver switch if you've seen improvement.

MeDownYou reacted to Mira Yurizaki in What is dual channel, quad channel etc
Multi-channel memory means the system can combine the data channels used in RAM to effectively increase the amount of data that can be transferred at once between the CPU and RAM. This is a motherboard + CPU feature. The number of RAM modules that you buy in a kit is not indicative of anything. You can buy single sticks from the same lot and put them in a multi-channel system. It's just that buying, for example, two sticks from a dual-channel memory kit is a factory guarantee that it'll at least work in a dual-channel system. I've heard that motherboards can be finnicky about not allowing multi-channel memory, but I'm under the impression as long as the specs (speed, timing, and capacity) are the same, it should work.

As a bit of a technical background, DDR-SDRAM (any generation of it) has a 64-bit data channel. Combining these channels increases this to multiples of 64-bits. So in a dual channel memory system, if you have matching RAM modules, turns the effective bandwidth into a 128-bit one. A tri-channel system will increase this to 192-bits. A quad-channel will increase this to 256-bits.

Honestly for a noticeable upgrade Either speakers, or spending your whole budget on headphones would probably be what you're looking at. Now if you go with a very high level headphone (300+ish range) then you could worry about a dac/amp

Yep, read glycol in post above and my spelling became glycol instead of glycerol...then i just started talking about glycol  in the

Glycol over 150F or 65C will affect aluminum though which is a fun fact. But yeah...should be ignored as the fluid is glycerol based.

MeDownYou got a reaction from SupaKomputa in Is there a way to update my BIOS without a CPU?
Short answer, for what you're looking for probably no.

Long answer, Yes. You can buy a chip written to with an EEprom for bios, or write to one yourself. (or you could contact the company and they usually charge 15 bucks for them, unless you receive a board with a super old bios then they send a chip out for free. You definitely have to ask about this because this isn't a common thing.)

MeDownYou got a reaction from 8uhbbhu8 in Any other hobbies lock pickers?
Honestly you just have to pick up a whack ton of locks and and go at it, see if you can pick the 2 pin brinks, then 4 pin masters, then 5 pins, then 4 pin+1 security pin, then 6 pins + security pin, then 4+2 security, you get the idea

If you're in college lectures are the perfect time to practice picking locks.

Legally speaking i wouldn't know anything about picking locks or claim to know anything, but when you get the the point where you can pick AZZA's you're on the right track

also if there is a town group, or if you know someone with a few locks that comes in really handy because locks get EXPENSIVE fast. and by that i mean you can legitimately spend more cash on this hobby than PC building.
