  1. HyperX is now dead. Got it. Truly a shame as their products are actually pretty good (bar a decent amount of their headsets beyond the Cloud II/Core/Alpha). HP is just a hassle to deal with on all fronts, so I will not be giving them any money.
  2. >audio chat >iOS exclusive currently LMAO Just use Discord and have a significantly better experience.
  3. Yeah, and this won't affect better cryptos that don't rely on that. Nano and XRP rely on low impact nodes that can process a significant amount of transactions compared to Bitcoin. It's like comparing a current gen mobile GPU vs a 3090 revving away in Furmark, except the benchmark scores are switched in the end. Bitcoin is shit and inefficient and a crackdown on these farms will be for the better.
  4. It's only a CO2 sink if it's a terribly inefficient one like Bitcoin. Nano is a very nice alternative that doesn't have those problems.
  5. Oh my god, those are hideous. No sane human would wear those in public, let alone spend $550 for them.
  6. Dropped my new 4790K right into the socket of my also entirely new ASUS Maximus VII Ranger when I was rebuilding my rig years back. Luckily it only bent a single pin that I managed to carefully bend back in place. Didn't seem to affect it at all, and I even managed to overclock it to 4.9Ghz stable.
  7. Yo, I own stocks in Roblox, making fat stacks from parents' panic attacks
  8. I was looking at getting the 8T and a nice looking colour would be the definite go for me. Sadly, they opted for that awful green colour and boring milky-white one. What happened to the gorgeous Interstellar Glow from the 8 and Mirror Blue from the 7 series?
  9. Starting at $699 Oh, it's the Mini Starting from $799 Oh, it's only with AT&T $829 before trade-in, SIM-free What in the god damn fuck is this kind of arse marketing? If this was anywhere within the EU, Apple would be hung, drawn and quartered. And the base storage option is STILL 64GB. I too like to overheat and kill my battery at twice the speed, all while using twice the amount of power required at half the charging speed.
  10. Great, now we're 1% there! Maybe next year they will learn to not add random liked videos from YouTube that are not music related at all to my liked list.
  11. My current OnePlus 7 cost me 530€. Previous Xperia XZ3 cost me €480. I could spend insane amounts of money on vacations that last a short week or some other fluff, but instead I get something that is important to me. I can afford that investment because I don't throw money around at other things I find unnecessary. I can easily retire at the average age with my current spending. I used my mate's iPhone 5S for about 3 weeks while my phone was in for repair a few years ago, and then I forced myself to use an iPhone 8 for 2 weeks last year. Both miserable ex
  12. The only thing I envy Apple users for is long term support, but then again I rarely have a phone for longer than a year. As the software is inherently a locked down pile of shite, I'd rather deal with only two years of Android updates with the significant amount of freedom I get there.
  13. Noticed they pulled the original from both Steam and Origin, leaving only the €30 remastered version available for purchase. This is absolutely hilarious. EA strikes again.
  14. Barely been paying attention to this place for a few years now, but I wouldn't say things have changed. Maybe it's a thing that comes and goes in waves.
