Try telling that to Michael Fisher. I'm pretty sure the only reason why he wants it in his pocket over the Galaxy Z Flip is because of nostalgia for the original Razr.

Nowak reacted to RorzNZ in COVID-19 - READ THE RULES BEFORE REPLYING
    That’s because:
    1) public health in the US is garbage
    2) people don’t listen and don’t social distance / wear masks
    3) incompetence in lockdown measures

people like to pass blame, especially at the federal level, but you can’t have all these riots, people not isolating, activism in the streets, and then wonder why the measures that people don’t follow aren’t working.

The only thing I would advise in the US is for the vulnerable, e.g diabetic, obese, to isolate and low-risk people to go to work as normal and risk it, and when a vaccine comes out, to take it.

I'll wait for AMD's response before judging if AMD's gonna get "decimated" or whatever. Can't say I'm too pleased with that pricing structure.

The RX 5000 series was comparable in performance to the RTX 20 series, but they didn't definitively beat them (just performed exactly like how AMD said they would) and ofc the driver issues for the first few months so people declared them "dead on arrival."

I don't know why people get mad when AMD cards perform exactly as they say they do. If AMD says that RDNA 2 will perform as good as, I dunno, the RTX 3070, and it performs as good as the 3070, then where's the reason to get mad?

Here in America, the 5700 XT is $100 cheaper than the 2070 Super, and I would say about the same as the standard 2070 but that's being scalped. Considering the 2070s is $100 more for... 5% better performance, is it really better to buy Nvidia than AMD? As for the 2060 vs. 5600 XT, they're about on par.

Also, for the record, that $500 starting point is more than what I paid for my 1070 by (a nice) $69.

That's a rather bold claim, because what is the "best" keyboard depends on the person. It's a highly subjective thing but you're talking about it like it's objectively the best.

Nowak got a reaction from LAwLz in Microsoft releases the Surface Duo on September 10th.
I guess they decided business users don't need it? But considering how higher-end desks are starting to have Qi pads built in I'd imagine there are quite a few who would want such a feature on their phone.

The biggest problem I see from Dave2D's video is it's too wide in phone mode, due to the 3:4 displays.

Honestly wish that Corsair and Logitech would start using a standard bottom row, so that you and other Corsair and Logitech owners could fully customize your boards.

Also that pudding caps supported more than just the basic ANSI and ISO layouts.

Nowak reacted to Commodus in Microsoft releases the Surface Duo on September 10th.
The Surface Duo stirkes me as a classic example of a problematic Microsoft product: it's aimed at user that doesn't really exist. The kind of person who wants to work primarily on their phone, is willing to sacrifice numerous features for the privilege... and of course, is immersed in the Microsoft ecosystem. Shades of Kin and Zune, albeit more practical than those.

It reminds me of the bad old pre-Nadella days of Microsoft, when Steve Ballmer was convinced all humans were biologically predisposed to love Microsoft as much as he does. Like the mere whiff of a Microsoft-blessed Surface phone will make you throw your iPhone or Galaxy against the wall and order a Duo on the spot. "You mean it improves functionality for Office? Sold!"

The truth, of course, is that you probably won't be remotely interested in this unless your phone is a major productivity tool and you depend heavily on Microsoft apps. I hope it sells well enough, but I wouldn't be surprised if there are steep discounts within a few months.

If I were to spend $1400 on an Android phone I'd rather buy a Galaxy S20 Ultra or Note 20 Ultra. At least those have features to try justifying the price beyond promises of a "new form factor" that's not actually new.
