ivan134 got a reaction from PCGuy_5960 in GPU OC is more stable with new power strip and I don't get any voltage spikes to 1.55
It definitely is. I thought it was the wiring in my place. I just moved and was having the same issues. I bought a new power strip to use with my new t.v. and decided to swap it out. All my previous stability issues just poofed away.

ivan134 got a reaction from MEC-777 in Games are so much smoother after going from a 6600 to a 6700. I can finally play over
It's fucking unreal how much better my games run. It's like I bought a new GPU.

Yep. When I switched from the i5-4570 to the i7-4770K it was a huge difference. Even without overclocking. Those extra threads go a long way. Allowed my 1070 to fully stretch it's legs.
