  1. The fine tuning has occurred...minus the cables. I ordered sleeping to bundle the front io into on clean loom but it hasn’t come in yet. I swapped the color of the vue coolant to a redder color and corrected the angles of some of the runs so it’s all straight.
  2. Yea I need to fine tune the wiring especially the front io.....was just just eager to get it to boot and there wasn’t an easy way to hide the wiring. I also need to correct the 2 runs for the GPUs coolant. They should be parallel but I miss measured the length of the extension I needed. Wounded up 3D printing ekwb cad files I found online to just get the sizing right and ordered the proper size extension. The torque fittings are really bulky so it doesn’t help either, if I did it again I’d go with classic. The goal is to have the tubing all glass so I needed all fittings for any bend
  3. So the build is finished. With the new intel processors announced I decided to go AMD. SPECS Ryzen 3950x Crosshair VIII Formula 32gb Dominator Platinum 500gb m.2 SSD 2080ti all EKWB fittings and blocks.
  4. Here is the poorly drawn plan for the front section. I’ve never used splitters before, it simplifies the runs in this area but I’m hoping it doesn’t cut down on the pressure going through the rads and they’ll be able to bleed fine. got the first batch of fittings in aswell and started playing around with the runs
  5. Decided it was time for me to upgrade my current rig from dual 1070 to a single GPU. Since new hardware should be on the way this year my simple upgrade turned into a completely new system and I was instantly sold on the EK edition InWin 909 which also meant this system will need the watercooling to match. Dont have much to show currently, just started off getting the 'basement' runs sorted but wanted to get this thread started. Case came in, no damage and its number 39 of 200. The build quality for sure justified the hefty price. The case co
  6. Mostly just timing. I didnt have the budget for the 1080 nor could i find one instock but my local bestbuy had one 1070 so i went with that. Month later they had another so i picked it up. I never plan on upgrading to 4k because of windows scaling everything and monitor size/closeness i sit to it make 2k perfect. Plus SLI does look cool.
  7. Been spending far to long just admiring my handywork
  8. So my computer has been sitting with a gtx770 and i5 for some time now and I wanted to upgrade to a 1440p monitor so I upgraded the computer too. Dual 1070 and an i7. Hard tubing watercooled with all EK because hard tubing on your first attempt is a good idea right? I think it came out pretty good. The coolant is pastel black.
  9. My 4670k. For paying what I did that chip is absolutely garbage. Under an h100i it can barely over clock to 4ghz without thermal throttling. Idles at 40°C under water. I've checked thermal paste and tried everything to improve the temperatures but it's just a crap chip.
  10. Planning on second 770 in the future
  11. i dont know if i got a defective board or if im missing something but this board has been a lot of trouble. Currently it seems to work but it was constantly freezing on the windows start screen. Also thank you
  12. So i posted here showing the progress of this build but i didnt do a good job of organizing and it just became a mess so this is sorta a repost but new stuff has been done since the previous thread. The Specs: I5 4570k -at 3.8hz cooled by Corsair H100i (really lame overclocker) EVGA GTX 770 Classified (1293mhz on the core) 16 gb of Corsair Dominator Platinum at 1866mhz(2x8) Asus Maximus VI Formula EVGA 750watt power supply Asus PCIE AC66 wifi card (my college doesnt have ethernet in the dorms....but they do have wireless AC ) Intel 180gb ssd for boot and battlefield 500gb WD blue
