  1. I personally do like to use digital assistants... from time to time, they do make life easier. For example: I love to be able to hit a keyboard shortcut and just ask Siri to search for a picture when writing a document followed by just dragging and dropping it from the results without opening a browser. I also use it to create quick reminders or to change music. Since I'm generally switching between my whiteboards and my laptop when doing research, sometimes it's just more convenient to ask something rather then actually opening apps to do it. This also counts for doing quick searc
  2. The advanced control panel is generally capable of giving you more information. It's also known as FAHControl. Sending a screenshot of that might allow for a better analysis.
  3. Honestly I would like to have an option that stores the games on external storage. Even if my internet is fast enough, it's not 100% available though I still want to be able to play the games. Plus the ability to carry the hard drive to friends and just start playing has been awesome; given the same internet argument...

    Mac Games

There are a lot of indie games on the Mac App Store; I personally love taking a look in there every once in a while and actually read the articles under the 'Games' section to discover some new games. Otherwise Steam is a great source and a indie site like Game Jolt has a lot of interesting games to play.
  5. Personally own a MacBook Air 2017 that I use for pretty much everything. Agree with Lord Vile that a higher storage air is a better purchase than a base model pro. Both the office apps from Apple and the office suite from Microsoft work perfectly fine. I do prefer to open documents in the app they are created in; exporting and importing don't always play nicely with everything (SmartArt in Microsoft Office is a great example). I don't really understand what you mean by 'missing a whackton of things'... I never had the idea that I couldn't do something. You might sometimes need a mi
  6. I would love to use this processor for a future project. I will have to collect for some hardware but I'll be fine knowing that this is waiting for me.
  7. I love math, this why I chose for pi. I repeated this and added the last 3 numbers of my student number, that makes PiPi636. It's pronounced Dutch though.
  8. Hey, There are a lot of possible solutions to your problem on this page; http://www.thewindowsclub.com/usb-device-not-recognized Quick summary (detailed instructions -> follow weblink); Restart the computer Disconnect all other USB devices and insert the one with problems In Device Manager, click Action -> Scan for hardware changes Right click the USB device and choose Update Driver Double click the USB, go to USB Root Hub Properties and uncheck Allow the computer to turn off this device to save power Run the Hardware and Device Troubleshooter or the Windows USB Troubles
  9. Hey Night_Rider0 I can't explain the problem with a lot of details but I can show you what I think is the solution. The line - foreach ($array as $n) - appears to me as if it repeats your code for each array you're using. You got 4 arrays so you get 4 lines. What are the lines - $count++ - and - $a++ - for? I was just wondering. Might just be me, not being that experienced I tested the code out without that line and it did what you wanted it to do. So I suggest trying this out; <?php $handle = fopen("vote.txt", "r"); if ($handle) { print('<table style="width:75%"
  10. Is it possible for you to give more information about the operation failed message? What exactly does it say? Is there any error code? Could you attach a picture containing the message? Greeting, PiPi636
  11. My PC was €1500 (1 878.6 U.S. dollars) and bought my MacBook Pro for €1140 (1 427.736 U.S. dollars). Prices of Google don't sound right though .
  12. My school uses some HP desktop. Pretty powerful machines actually, but the server is slow as snails. The server is so slow that I decided to bring my laptop and just use that one instead.
  13. I think that this set-up will get you started. It is a little tight when it comes to the power supply but he, its your call. I don't know enough about games to say if this will run Planetside 2 @ 60 fps but it meets the recommended requirements of the game according to http://www.systemrequirementslab.com/cyri?gameName=planetside-2&itemId=11448&p=r ; CPU: Intel Core i5-3470 3.2GHz Quad-Core Processor ($188.64 @ SuperBiiz) Motherboard: Biostar H61MGV3 Micro ATX LGA1155 Motherboard ($36.99 @ Amazon) Memory: Team Elite 8GB (1 x 8GB) DDR3-1600 Memory ($62.99 @ Newegg) Storage: Wes
  14. Try holding down Alt/Option during boot, not to be confused with Command. This should bring you into the Startup Manager. Good luck PiPi636
