Mate, the server's just been griefed apart...

You might wanna be a bit more selective with who's allowed to play on it and who isn't.

    Awesome, joined.

Have you considered setting the server's render distance to 16? it would make gameplay a bit more enjoyable.

So my mom was mocking me last January for spending £2000 on my PC, saying that her £1000 Apple-branded-laptop is so much better because of reasons, and I should've gotten one too instead.

Now she can barely use it because it overheats if you open more than 2 browser tabs. And every time it does, I remind her of two years ago, when she decided to buy the Apple laptop against my recommendation of not doing so because it sucks... and then I laugh, and laugh, and laugh.

It won't break, the CPU will just throttle down if it gets too hot.

I built myself a gaming PC like a week ago, featuring a 4790K, and an R9 290. Whenever my friends ask my how much it costed and I tell them, they say that "for that price, I should've gotten an Apple laptop".  <_<

It depends on the material and method that they are printing with. Some plastics when heated don't melt properly and partially burn releasing carbon monoxide. This is common for low grade plastics not suitable for 3D printing. While it is possible for many 3D printing plastics to decompose and give extremely hazardous gases including carcinogens, this requires temperatures well above what is used for printing. With multiple faults it is possible for the heating elements to overheat the plastic, so putting the printer in well ventilated area is highly recommended.

With the accuracy of the article, it could have been anything though. More likely an all-in-one 3d-printer with a laser engraving/cutting attachment in use.

Well the most common 2 types of plastics used for 3D printing is PLA and ABS...
What happens when you melt plastic? It gives off smoke/fumes, is ABS much more toxic than PLA, yep so if they were printing with ABS in an enclosed space then...

Litargirio reacted to Lord Nicoll in [Experiment] Household materials as thermal compound extreme
In this test, I really wanted to test the boundaries, and I did. Even the good actual thermal compound failed, although it lasted longer. This test was performed on an i5 3570k at a very high 1.4 Volts on a stock Skylake intel cooler (there was no way anything could cool this). While actual thermal compound seemed to be managing, after 2 minutes (most failed within 30 seconds) it too succumbed, which might have been the result of the cooler rather than the Thermal Compound. The results are below. Nothing I tested actually worked, but again, 1.4 volts was extreme, on a stock cooler was never going to work. I wanted to see could it last. I also tested single core stress tests and some of them lasted 10 minutes, Thermal compound, Tooth paste, WD40 and washing up liquid all managed to keep 1 core at a time under control, so maybe if you're stuck they could be used. The nice formatting text file is included.  If you think I should retest fairly or with a better cooler just flame away. The system that was used was
    Intel Core i5 3570K stock clocks @ 1.400 Volts
    8GB Crucial DDR3 1600
    ASUS ROG Maximus V Formula
Intel stock cooler (for Skylake, it's a lot smaller)
    AMD FirePro V5900

I see. I started counting the "new thumbnails" from the Airpods episode, because that was the first one with Linus making a stupid face with bright colors and shit. I guess you can say that the G20CB also had that going on. I don't think I've seen anyone complain about the Razer, PS4 Pro or bluetooth thumbnails.
If you go to the previous page you can even see someone using the PS4 Pro as an example of how the thumbnails used to be, in contrast with the WiFi thumbnail.

    Grouping these thumbnails:

    With these:

    Is quite dishonest.

I will totally call bullshit on you if you try and claim "what do you mean? They are both the new thumbnail format". One format is nice and pleasant, and the other one is jpeg formatted cancer. I'll let you figure out which label goes on what category.

Three separate fans (assuming it's a triple rad) should be plenty for anything.
