  1. My gpu does that too. Usually on indie games or less demanding parts of games. And the fps goes up and down with the gpu usage/clock in some games, not in all games. Maybe there are some settings somewhere to try and get more usage and also more fps as a result. I dont know.
  2. Perhaps the motherboard only supports 8gb ram sticks`? check that it supports 16gb sticks.
  3. Hello, I am wondering if i should upgrade my computer, or add features to it perhaps. I play many games, I am not interested in rgb or overclocking. I usually have a stream or series on my 2nd monitor while i play games. The oldest part of my computer is probably the cpu that i bought in 2012. What part of my computer do you think is smart to upgrade? CPU: Amd FX-8350 Motherboard: Gigabyte 990FXA-UD5 RAM: 8x2GB DDR3 Clk: 1866MHz GPU: Asus GeForce GTX 1070 8GB Dual Case: Fractal design - Define R4 PSU: F
  4. Wireless rgb Fans. Wireless psu. Wireless front panel. Your comuter draws power from the floor/desk mat you place under it. No cables with every pheriphial bieng wireless. No cable manegement
  5. Hello. I was wondering what color i should pick on my antec 900 pc case. The plastic parts are black(not in picture). Im just painting what is on the picture. Inside also. All in one color.
  6. Well if you took 2 of the same computer cases, and you filled the 8x 3.5" hard drive bays on one with ssd's and the other with micro sd cards. I think you would get more storage out of micro sd cards. Like lets say you can fit about 16 ssd's max by stacking 2 in each bay, you could fill the drive bays with like 1000 micro sd cards. they are so tiny... =P you would have more storage, even tho you could not use it as it was not connected.
  7. Do you think there is a product that lets you put a LOT of SD/microSD cards into a 3.5" or 5 1/4" cage and connect it with Sata cable to your computer? If you fit them close together i bet you could get between 100 and 200 micro sd cards into a 5 1/4" kind of like how linus fit all those harddrives into the server he showed on a video. only on a smaller scale. well 100 - 200 times 512gb cards, is well 50 - 100 terabytes of storage in the space of a single dvd rom. What do you guys think?
  8. Hello, do you know of a game like leauge of legends or dota 2, where the main gamemode is 1vs1 instead of 5vs5?
  9. id upgade the graphics card and maybe get 2 more sticks of ram and keep the system for another 2 years. then you can buy motherboard/cpu/ram in 2019. At least my system works just fine for any games. I'm not upgrading untill 2019, well unless there are some sick prices in store for us in 2018.
  10. I got both a PlayStation and a pc and i can tell the graphics is a lot better on my pc. But then again, my pc was more expensive. And is a lot newer. But one thing my computer can not do, is play Grand Tursimo. Well at least not legaly, unless there are emulators that support real copies of the game.
  11. 2012 - ($299) Wii U 2013 - ($399) Playstation 4 2013 - ($499) Xbox one 2016 - ($399) Playstation 4 Pro 2016 - ($299) Xbox One S 2017 - ($499) Xbox One X 2017 - ($299) Nintendo Switch - ($300) $60 per year for online multiplayer Total of $2993 in 5 years. Even if you only buy half of the consoles on this list, its still expensive.
  12. Id say my favorite retro game is Street rod.
  13. Kimmaz has registered a WhatPulse account on 2017-11-20. Since then, Kimmaz has typed 29,581 keys, clicked their mouse 55,185 times, downloaded 65.25GB, uploaded 3.12GB and has run the WhatPulse client for 4 days, 3 hours, 25 minutes, 13 seconds.
  14. With the way the pump out new consoles, you have to spend $350-$400 Every single year to keep up, buy a $1200 computer and you can have it for 5 years. And if you buy 25 games (5 per year) and save $5 per game from cheaper games. And you save $60 per year in online/multiplayer fee.
  15. for $300 you could buy a used ps1 with 10+ games and a wii with a few games depending on how many games you get with the system and how many you have to buy seperatly.
  16. I think its ridiculus that some people build systems, and the ram costs more than the cpu and motherboard combined. At least here in norway, a kit of ram costs the same as a intel i7 8700, a kit with high speed ram costs the same as a i7 8700k. So I don't see the logic in buying a cheap cpu in this case. These are the cheapest ram in the contry, with a 20-30% black friday deal: Compare it to the cpu prices:
  17. Maybe gameboy advanced sp, i have that one that fold in half, takes the older gameboy games aswell. Takes little space and is fairly cheap, and can be fun to play. EDIT: My actual gameboy:
  18. Everything is cloud computing, computers in 5 years is a touchscreen with wifi and computing happens on massive servers.
  19. This is my computer, i benchmarked it to compare the numbers to those cpu reviews on youtube, and i am waiting a year or 2 to upgrade my cpu. Unless there comes some sick drop in ram prices, a 4x8gb ddr4 kit cost almost the same as a i7 8700k where i live.. and im not upgrading from 16gb to 16gb ram, thats not a upgrade. Computer: CPU: AMD FX-8350 (4.1GHZ) RAM: 8x2GB DDR3 1866MHz Timings 9-10-9-27 Motherboard Model: Gigabyte GA-990FXA-UD5 (rev. 3.1) Video Card: ASUS GeForce GTX 1070 DUAL OC Drive 0: SAMSUNG HD103UJ (1TB) Drive 1: SAMSUNG HD103UJ (1TB) Drive 2: Samsung
  20. I have 2x https://www.newegg.com/global/no/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16822148834 that died after about 1 year of usage. I have never bothered trying to fix them yet. But i would like to be able to partition and format them and assign them a letter (like E: or something). I do not need to find any data on them. they have not taken any fall damage (i have lost harddrives by dropping laptops in the past) they just simply died, i cannot remember exactly how. but i would at least try to scan and fix bad sectors. I only have one of them connected not both. i don't remember why i left
  21. Hello, i have not used or needed hirens boot cd in a year at least. Last time i repaired a dead hard-drive, it was the boot drive (C:) and thus i booted from the drive and used a "dos" looking program to fix or mark bad sectors as unusable, and thus the windows installer could once again find the drive and format it. Does anyone know what program on the disk (or maybe a different place) that can do this on a drive while in windows? of course not fix (c.) while booted in windows. a different drive. If not, i need to find a blank cd so i can burn this =P
  22. I finaly got a result, well it was as expected i guess. http://www.userbenchmark.com/UserRun/5893960 I dont think my dead harddrive affected the score, its not listed on the results.but i agree, i should try and get it repaired.
  23. Lol thanks, i decided id try it out for fun, and its stuck, been running for 35min or so and it will not get past this point, any help? I think its trying to find info on my dead 2tb drive, that i have yet bothered to fix or remove...
