If it hits the zig-zag metal, it wont do anything. If it hits the metal "bars" between the zig-zags, it could cause a leak.

intel keeps the same MOBO for 2 generation 

its enough but you wont be running at the efficiency peak probably, if that dosent matter much to you then go ahead

I prefer Seagate and Western Digital when it comes to hard drives but thats just my opinion.

As a reply to the original question, sounds like your internet is slow AF if iTunes will take 30 hours. Run to Starbucks, download and install it, and come home.

I wasn't sure if it was able to be downloaded without Wi-Fi.

It sounds like the middle option is better bang for the buck than the latter option. And due to speed, I wouldnt get the first one.
