MNPCTech case handles - where can i get them?

I'm in the process of buying a NOS Goldship server case (which shares chassis with a Chieftec i had in the past and the Antec case from the first sleeper PC Linus did) or a Casetek CK-1018, simply because i'm dissatisfied with modern case designs, most lack the rigidity or the 5.25' bays i require, they usually have one or another.

One thing i always wanted to have on one of these was those fancy billet aluminum MNPCTech case handles to carry it arround, i've seen many of those in the past with them.

Where can i get those handles? MNPCTech no longer keeps a stock of them.

Also, would i need to make reinforcements on the case interior in order to use the handles for transportation?

What i would do is take this picture and go to a local workshop that has a CNC mill, they should be able to design something similar and create it.

That certainly is an option! We don't have local CNCs but there's one about half an hour from where i live

You can always give them a call and ask if they could create it, if it's a yes, off you go!

it's not a difficult design and not very big so it should be fine.

Thanks a lot! Glad i can have the originals!

Do i need to make some reinforcements to the case or can i just drill and bolt the handles in? 

Mine is steel, not aluminum.

You should be fine without making reinforcements, but I'll include some large washers, insert these inside the case, before you attach the nuts. Those chieftec steel panels can handle the stress. I must have sold hundreds to people with those old Antec Soho, Chenming and Chieftec Server towers. I started making them 17 years ago.

Will do! Just have to wait for the handles to reach my place, my friend picked them up at Shipito when they arrived there, i'll have to wait for him to come down to Brazil and bring the handles with him.
