Why is this case so cheap?

I was browsing the parts available at my local shop, and came across a Tecware Vision ATX Mid-Tower being sold at $79 USD which is $5 USD less than a NZXT H500 at the same shop. Honestly it looks really good, but I’m a little skeptical because it’s so cheap. Anyone have any idea why it’s so cheap?

Cheap cases can have worse build quality, but mostly as above its a brand recognition thing.

 

No reason not to use a cheap case especially if you can inspect it first to check if the quality is good enough.

Yeah I’m going to inspect the case at the shop before buying it. It looks really really good imo.

It does look really good 
 

Edit: About the airflow, I have a super cheap case which has the same kind of front airflow, just a little grid to the side of the front panel. But with 3 fans in front and 1 in the back it moves air like a beast.

I plan to fill all the fan slots with Corsair ML120 fans connected to a commander pro so I can sync the lighting and get full RGB support, so I hope airflow won’t be a problem

Measure the internals to make sure that the case can accommodate your cooling requirements.

Uh, no, if you are not running rad in the front, do not set front fans as exhaust.

Looks like they have the fans recessed behind the vents to actually allow for a\the airflow to pass into the fans which is good. A lot of case manufacturers will put the fans too close to the glass and not leave a good path for airflow. The only downside to this case is the overall build construction will use much cheaper steel and plastic constructions. But it does use rubber grommets, something thats rare on budget pc cases like this.

What would be the downside of the cheaper materials used? Would that have any effect on it’s structural integrity?

Make sure it's a tempered glass panels or just acrylic, if it's acrylic then no surprise, otherwise is odd if a fully tempered glass case being that cheap. Maybe the cable management features behind the main panel like inconvenient tie point position, or cheap flimsy metal material, low quality fans, airflow, etc..

-Website says it’s tempered glass front and side panel

 

-There are some cable management tie down points at reasonable places, and there is 200mm of space for cables

 

-Airflow seems okay, there are air vents on the front panel so it’s not just a solid glass panel, and there are 6 120mm fan slots

 

-I’m planning to use my own fans so that should be okay I guess?

Technically speaking yes but unless you're intent is to have the case hold up one end of a table or something, it doesn't matter. Just the physical feed and look to it.

Because its made cheaper, with higher tolerances, shittier materials and tools?

You can see how crap it looks on the pics, don't want to know how it looks in person...

 

And the screws for the PCIe Slots are outside the cases. That's really shit. You can even destroy your motherboard with that. So the 5 Bucks for the  H500 are worth it and the 79 USD is way too much because of the build quality of that shit case.
