MSi or GIGABYTE

Hi,

I am going to upgrade my motherboard but  I am slightly confused.

I was wondering which one of these were better, as I cannot really understand.

Some people on the internet say the VRMs are bad and are realy hot, but I don't really want to do editing, only gaming.

So, can you help me pick form these:
MSI Z370 PC PRO

GIGABYTE Z370 HD3P

GIGABYTE Z370 Aorus Gaming K3

Have you considered boards by Asus?

Sometimes it is better to spend quite a bit on components like motherboards.

that's why i did not really like them. Also i am upgrading from a cheap AM3+ motherboard and i use A LOT of USB ports and many of the Asus ones only have 6.

Yes, they all have ok vrms, but gigabyte is just eh to me, unless you get one of their higher end boards

Admittedly Asus boards are expensive but they are built like tanks and in my opinion they are the most user-friendly.

Sometimes Asus is not the best...Anyways I would choose an Asrock motherboard. There aren't Asrock options so MSI.

That is true but from the Asus boards I've used in my opinion they are the best boards on the market. You can't go wrong with an Asus board.

I didn't want to be sarcastic. Even I searched for Asus motherboards. Don't get me wrong Asus motherboards are good. Just sometimes the price can be high or the motherboard will not be the best.

They are expensive because they are built like tanks even lower-end Asus boards are built to a spec not a price.

The i5 8600 (non K)

not overclocking and just gaming.

Ok, but will there be lots of advantages as i just want a motherboard which does not look absolutely ugly and brown and one which does not slow down the CPU with its VRM or crap build quality or support for cheap.

The Prime Z370-A is the best sub $200 board on the market not to mention it looks awesome and the build is rock solid (source : I ran one for almost a year)

Then tbh it doesnt matter. Only when overclocked CPUs are in use that VRMs are a problem.

And what other Z370 board offers a better value than the Prime-A at $160?
