Man, I played the shit out of this on my Dreamcast, infact I dusted it off a few months ago when I rearranged all my systems. One of the first games I completed 100% I was far too excited when I worked out how to use Sebulba's flamer.

Shame they couldn't scale remake or scale the HUD a little bit. It looks actrocious in 1080...

wat? I didn't know the other racers had something special, I just used Anakin's because his was the smallest of the bunch and easy to turn although Sebulba had the fastest I think.

Finished Crysis without a discrete GPU,15 FPS average, and a lot of heart

 

How I plan my builds -

For me I start with the "There's no way I'm not gonna spend $1,000 on a system."

Followed by the "Wow I need to buy the OS for a $100!?"

Then "Let's start with the 'best budget GPU' and 'best budget CPU' that actually fits what I think is my budget."

Realizing my budget is a lot less, I work my way to "I think these new games will run on a cheap ass CPU."

Then end with "The new parts launching next year is probably gonna be better and faster for the same price so I'll just buy next year."

I dunno if i'm remembering the controls correctly, but I think on the Dreamcast it was L+R Triggers at the same time, and you got his hidden flamethrower, AFAIK it was only Sebulba that had a weapon.

I know that feel. I'm waiting for an unpopular game to be remade, it was called "Battle Realms". It's like an oriental RTS game with a non-linear progression through the campaign.

I was so happy when GOG got this.  I have the original PC CD and was able to get it running on a win 98 machine a few years ago to enjoy the nostalgia.

I remember playing this when I was 6, and never learning there was a "Boost" function.  Needless to say, I never beat it for a good year, LOL.

Oh that's right it's December so we're close to another Star Wars theater release right?

 

And yes my comment does reflect how casual fans are currently both overwhelmed and disinterested in all the new Star Wars films and I kinda liked Episode VII but meh.

The internet confuses me.

Before I knew GoG I already had a lot of games on Steam. Plus Steam store is price adjusted based on region, so even if they sell it cheap on GoG it wouldn't even match the Steam store prices I get. Steam adjusts prices for RU & SEA  regions, not sure about the rest.
