Real of fake?

Master Disaster

The HD5450 in my mum's office PC died so we've been looking on eBay for a replacement and I found this...

https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/GTX1050TI-GDDR5-4GB-128Bit-3000MHz-Graphics-Card-DVI-Output-Game-Video-Card-UK/132846300279?epid=0&hash=item1eee41ac77:g:1CAAAOSw0ZRb4P8k:rk:3:pf:0

It's a brand new, boxed GTX 1050ti 4GB for £47.99 + free shipping, it's a UK seller too.

People are selling used 1050tis for £100 to £150 and they are selling at that price, even the global sellers are asking ~£70 for the same card. I've checked his sales history and he only listed these 2 days, he's sold 6 of them but so far no one has left feedback. He also has 1050s for for £35.

What do you guys think? Fake cards?

Obviously fake. Look at the shroud and the cooling solution. Also, no GTX 1050ti has a VGA output.

I would just go to your local IT shop (or internet, whatever you prefer) and buy a brand new cheap graphics card.

Like, new, but the cheapest thing you can get. Anything is a massive upgrade from what she had.

There are a lot of grammatical errors in the whole of the listing, they claim to be a UK seller, but it seems kind of dodge.

Also they have a whole section dedicated to leaving them 5* positive results and not to leave them anything else.

There is no VGA support in the official line-up, he shows TV screen and people watching it as a way to market it and there is no branding or at least name of the manufacturer.

Oh no she wouldn't, I was thinking of buying one to stick in my server as it can't do X265/HEVC transcoding very well at all and the 1050 has hardware X265 decoding built in.

I ordered her a used R5 230 for £15 which is WAAAAAY more than she needs.

Know what's more obnoxious than an "I don't know what you need but you don't need that" that still offers a suggestion to ops problem reply?

A reply that is literally not productive to the conversation in anyway shape or form. Congrats, you seem to got that shit on lockdown.
