Why is it so hard to remove the HD audio cable from my motherboard

I routed the cable the wrong way and now I'm trying my best to get that cable off and so far I'm having no luck... it's like it's fucking glued to the socket. If I don't manage to pull it out its no big deal but it'll still drive me crazy for years to come seeing the cable sticking out like that.

have you tried wiggling it a little bit when trying to take it off be carefull tho, you don't wanna break any of the pins ;).
this is usually because every manufacturer has slightly different standard's and margain's on their production some are slightly smaller and some are a little bigger and that's what cause this.

Current build: Ryzen 7 1700x, asus prime x370-pro, 16gb gskill trident z rgb, asus rog strix gtx 1070 ti, corsair rm650x, nzxt s340 elite, samsung 840 pro 256gb, 1.5tb hdd.

Yea recalled a video where it's advised to wiggle it a bit while pulling it off but still no luck. Might have to just let it go.
