Hi there, I'm looking to get one of these cards for my build, to replace my old hd 7850 (its about time). i recently build a new pc and I only need to get a new gpu, I'll use it mainly for gaming.

The rest of the specs are:

Asus strix b450-f

r5 2600

16gb g.skill @ 3000

650 w psu (seasonic focus plus gold)

phanteks p300

 

my current monitor is a LG 29UM69G-B, but I think to get a second uw monitor in the future.

 

I'm kinda leaning toward the vega card, as I have a freesync monitor.

What would be the best choice, in your opinion, from the cards listed at the top?

 

(i've chosen the strix cards because we still don't have a programm  that can combine all the rgb's xD)

(to the turbo I hope to add a rgb backplate)

another edit; the rtx card has just gone out of stock, and the price launched to 570 instead of 520, so scrap that one for now

I'd get the Vega or 2070, wouldn't even consider the 1070ti if all of these are close in price as you say.

Because the 2070 is the most powerful card, but the Vega 64 has free sync compatibility. The 1070ti is basically the Vega 64 with no free sync.

What about Vega 56? Gaming performance isnt all the different to the 64.

10% advantage for the 64 on average, so...

I'd get the 2070, only because I like Nvidia's driver updates. They're much better about updates than AMD.

Just st got my uncle a system almost like yours for his birthday present the strix vega 64 it's an amazing experience dual 1080p ultra-wide no tearing with FreeSync 100-120fps gtav a forze 2 96-108fps

2600X tho

I would go for the Vega 64 or even a cheaper Vega 56 purely for the Freesync. I use the the 34" version of that monitor at work with a an RX580 in a Razer Core dock and the Freesync is a nice feature that I would not trade higher frame rates for.

Vega is clearly the best GPU out of the 3. The one with most horsepower, higher bandwith and yeah it will match or beat the 2070 in games if you take 10 minutes to undervolt it. Also FreeSync.

RTX 2070 all the way... realistically they all perform about the same but the RTX 2070 is the newest card and has Ray Tracing capacity when that becomes an actual deal while the other two don't.

 

Freesync? I mean we're talking about 2560x1080p75hz here so FreeSync is redundant as you'll never have frame drops that bad.

rtx 2070 is out of the equation, the one I spotted for a reasonable price was an unfinished listing, a bit later the price went up. 

 So it is either 1070ti, vega 56, vega 64 or wait for 2060 or for 2070 to lower.

Sounds good but then think again 2560x1080p is NOT a demanding resolution any more nowadays, these graphics cards are all capable of maxing out games and keeping it above 60fps all times meaning you'll never really use FreeSync, you'll most likely just have to V-Sync Triple Buff to avoid screen tearing instead.

 

With all this said, You could go for the cheapest alternative as it won't matter as much, if you undervolt the V56 and overclock it right it will perform as a V64 at stock settings, the GTX 1070 Ti highly overclocked will still perform better across the board though, save a very few exceptions here and there on AMD exclusive titles.

My goal is to have a system that will be useful for around 4 or 5 years, and that can run a game at 1440p ultrawide with preferably everything at high.

I mean, just look up reviews. Sapphire has been making best AMD cards for years and Strix Vegas are notoriously bad when compared to other board partner cards
