Is it really that cold in North America?

Our car is frozen to the driveway and is not going anywhere (Mom flooded the engine trying to get it out)

Pretty freaking cold lol. It feels like -31 here...and that's not even the worse part. Other places have it worse.

In Calgary it gets down to -30C without the windchill. Walking outside for 5 minutes is pure and utter misery.

Pretty funny it was -15*C here in The Netherlands i still did go to school on my bike that is an hour away.. And not in a city but at allot of farm so the wind was terrible!

Haha, where I live, Atlanta, which is in the south, it reached 7 fahrenheit which is a record. No snow, no rain, but school was cancelled due to "extreme cold"

It's cold. The polar vortex refuses to leave us Canadians in peace. It was bad enough that with the windchill last week, temps were as low as - 40 C. Both today and yesterday, the windchill temps made it feel somewhere in the same region. About 30 cm of snowfall yesterday as well (at least where I'm living), though most of the precipitation has ceased. Blizzard, freezing rain, and windchill warnings are still in effect for Southern Ontario.

Were you implying that ridiculous idea of climate change being a conspiracy theory? Cause if you were, you have no place in a tech forum where people are generally critical thinkers and scientifically literate.

Around 10f here. 4-5 inches of snow. Not too bad but the wind is a real pain in the but.
