@JamesWe really need to get LTT to do a visit to this site out in your backyard. They are using racks of water-cooled RX 280s to analyze Radio Telescope Data. The Test Bed (Jun 2015) was:

• EVGA X79 Dark
• i7 4820K
• 4 x 4GB DDR3 O/C to 2133 MHz
• 2 x R9 280X GPU
• 1 x R9 270X GPU
• 1000W Power Supply
• 4U Chenbro RM41300-FS81 Rack-mount Cases
• 4 Quad 10Gige E Network Cards
• Swiftech Apogee II Pump/GPU Blocks

These should be able to run Crysis

But you get to watch cars on fire going over the Coquihalla! Or an exciting 30 minute flight from Van to Penticton in a Turbo Prop over the Coastal Range and a 30 - 45 minute drive to get there from the airport at Penticton.

 

The amusing part is Linus would have to surrender his Cell Phone and all Electronics that emit RF at the Gate and the Cameras and Sound Gear would likely have to be shielded.

I do work in this field .

 

Also: Why don't you do a folding video, explaining  how it works, tutorial to set it up etc.

And super awesome would be a "Badas" FAH rig, with many powerful GPUs, contributing to the team for the Folding month. This would be aREALY cool video!!

For what it's worth, the UBC profs on the project (Gary Hinshaw and Mark Halpern) are very nice. 

Gary won a huge award, the Breakthrough Prize.
