POWER SUPPLY TIER LIST REVISION 3

 

This is a refresh of the excellent PSU Tier List by @STRMfrmXMN who is no longer logging in which is in turn a refresh of the original by @Aniallation. Credit to them for the idea and the list as it existed on 22 October 2018 when this thread went live. The list is subject to change at any time as new units are added or units are moved as issues are discovered or resolved.

Exceptional in their category? Isn't that what the tiers are for? The CX is an objectively better performing unit than the CXM. Why is the CXM rated higher? Modularity has never been taken into consideration.

I have a suggestion: The new ASUS Thor 1200W is essentially a Seasonic Prime unit, however we should add ASUS as a company to the tier list (because people buying the ASUS Thor PSU might not know that it's a rebranded Seasonic one).
