2 GTX 1060 3gb SLI or 1 GTX 1080 6gb
Heh, peeps don't get that nVidia doesn't want you to get high end performance by combining/SLi'ing two lower end cards, then many would go that route....hence, they've taken that option to SLi outta their lower end cards. Sure, they'll give various reasons for doing so, but it's all about the moolah, simple as that. So, 2x GTX1060 in SLi is NOT and option, if you wanna go dual lower end GPU's, go the AMD route.
For the TS, you either sell the GTX 1060 6GB, and buy the GTX1080 (exactly what nVidia wants you to do)....or, more radically and most unlikely, sell the GTX 1060 and buy 2x AMD RX 580 8GB for some CF goodness, assuming your PSU can support two such cards. I was thinking of doing this myself, my PSU being a MAX REVO 1500W can certainly support two such cards, but a good deal on a VEGA 64 landed on me and I snagged it.
