Returning to 30fps.. How bad is it?

yeah, the quality of the game matters far more than the framerate.

With a really good game, that is designed to work well with 30fps, you don't mind it...

If you have no solwdowns that is...

 

 

At this point I have to say that Red Dead Redemption runs like shit on a PS3 and I'm thinking of getting it on XBox as well - IMO one of the only reasons for an XBox these days...

I totally loved playing on console a few years back. I wouldn't knock it. But the difference between 30 fps vs 60 fps is like night and day. But consoles have their place. Pc gaming has a nuance that many people don't under stand. Their is a lot of tweaking hardware to get the best quality. But this nuance is what makes pc gaming a different breed. But consoles are streamlined and have exclusives that pc may never get a port of *cough* spiderman. Either it be pc or console gaming is gameing.
