Flip direction of blowing of case fan?

boey

Hi all, I currently have 4 Corsair LL120 RGB for my NZXT H500 Case(2 for the top and back, 2 for the AIO radiator at the front, as it has decent static pressure)

The build is for my friend and he really likes the RGB lighting on the fans, but the lighting is only on the front of the fan, which means that all the fans will be positioned to be intakes. If I flip the fans, there are black bar thingys blocking the lighting and it looks pretty ugly.

Any way I can flip the direction of blowing through software or something?

No, you can't

:( okay then. Would it be okay if all the fans are acting as intakes?

Won't all the fans be exhausts?

Depends on the hardware, but it probably won't overheat.

Not too sure, haven’t turned the fans to 100%. I’ll get the chance to tomorrow as the PC is at my friend’s house. The fans were mostly idle but i felt air being sucked in though.

If the fans were al exhausts it would be pretty bad right? Worse than all intakes?

all exhaust is worse because you will be sucking in dust through every single crack of that case instead of the dust filters the fans should have.

Ok, pretty sure it was intake though. If not I have to flip the fans

all intake creates positive pressure in the case and will push air out through all the cracks, all exhaust creates a negative pressure that will suck air and dust into the case.
