amd wraith silent will it be enough ?

alicskysareblue

so Im looking to build  a computer with ryzen 5 2600x and I know that the spire is decent but is the wraith silent this worth the thirty dollers ? From what I saw its compatible with am4 and does a decent job cooling, plus honestly I really want to cut costs somewhere  I really don't feel like spending $60 + on an aftermarket cooler

The Kotetsu would be better for a bit more: https://pcpartpicker.com/product/7998TW/scythe-cpu-cooler-scktt1000

stock wraith spire is considered very quiet, why not try it out first?

imo not worth getting another cooler

Yes, I forgot to mention that it requires the AM4 mounting kit which can be ordered from Scythe or Amazon. https://www.amazon.com/Mounting-Scythe-Kotetsu-Tatsumi-SCAM4-1000A/dp/B06XR7337R

As mentioned, using the stock cooler before deciding on whether or not to replace it is a good idea.
