I have 2500$ budget. Need help for a new build.

BigPapi

As the title says, I saved up 2500 USD for this Christmas to build myself a new rig. I already have 4k monitor and all the peripherals. I just need some advise on choosing the right components that will go into the tower. I am planning to spend all of the 2500$ for this build. I haven't purchased anything yet. I will be using this PC for gaming only.

But we can make you a "better" build suited/tailored to your needs rather than someone doing what I just did and maxing out your budget to the very high end spectrum.

Just let us know what you'll plan on doing with it.

^This, we're going to need more info to be able to help you.

Also when you say " just need some advise on choosing the right components that will go into the tower" does that mean you already have a case as well? If so please tell us which case it is so we know what kind of motherboard and power supply it will take.

That's not overkill for the new assassins creed at 4k...

The game is great looking and fun but an absolute monster to get running at decent frames at 4k. Hell even 1080p is hard on alot of gpus.

Spending 700 dollars on storage is pretty excessive. Much better off going for a 2080ti.

Corsair 570x black mirror my personal choice

Ram memory 2x8gb G.Skill trident 3200 mhz
PSU i'd say go for at least 750 watt, as long as you buy Evga,Corsair,Seasonic you're fine.
Corsair h150i Pro RGB 360 Radiator cooler to fit with the case like a glove.

the items i listed total would cost around 150~ more but it would be worth it.

Sometimes you can get a great rig without using all of your monies. Sometimes it doesn't make sense to waste money. Maybe buy a Vive or something...

No need to spend everything if something cheaper is good enough, you can always save the money for a rainy day or for investments, etc.

How do you figure that on paper it looks worse? At worst it will have slightly better performance than the i7-8700K simply because its turbo clocks are a touch higher.

I dont think so. I think 2080ti is better for 4k 60hz. I might as well get a 1080ti instead of 2080, no point for wasting money for 2080. I'll get a 2080ti.

It seems you misunderstand the idea of a good value... You are really excited to waste money.

A Pentium is also good value, doesn't make it the right choice and getting an i7 instead is not necessarily a waste of money.

80+ ratings certify electrical efficiency. Not quality.

BigPapi, you don't have to burn money to get good stuff I think thats the point people are trying to make. Most of the time, yes more money spent will get you better stuff but if you can save money and still get good parts, why wouldn't you do that? That money can be used elsewhere, like for a nice mouse, mechanical keyboard, and/or a high quality monitor that can capture the overkill pc you want to build...
