Quick HDD naming question

MajorFoley

Right so say down the road i want to rename one of my drives from something like videos + Downloads to just videos that have a bunch of programs, will this break the program and make it not open? For games in a similar case would this be the same case?

Renaming your HDD? It does nothing, it just lets you know which drive you're using or putting files into.

Windows is too stupid to care about drive names. Just use a name that works for you ;)

don't change drive letters though

I actually did this once on my older PC so i didn't have to mess with some programs (copied older HDD to a bigger one) changed the drive letter and all programs were working fine but it's not something I'd like to risk again
