Webapp to keep track of inventory

Im guessing that the Linus Media group has some sort of software of web application to keep track of their tech inventory. I am also, however, suspecting that they have developed something for their own needs.

I'm wondering if someone has any good tips about any software available out there, either open source that we can host ourself, or paid plan, that can help us keep track of inventory like computers, cell phones etc. that our company buys, where we can register their serial numbers, who has it, when it was purchased etc. Likely, where we also can track a log for each item, if there is a fault with one of them we are adressing etc.

I also looking for this kind of software to keep track of hardware. In wich computer is wich hardware and where is not used hardware stored.....

@vimzzzDid you find any good software by now?
