@Jurrunio @M.Yurizaki So, if there are any really good deaks on cpus, gpus, etc. prior to Black Friday and Cyber Monday I should get them?

Yes, because those don't tend to go on sale any better on Black Friday / Cyber Monday than any other time they go on sale.

Even if they go on sale, it's unlikely they'll go on sale for less than they normally would.

Like take for example there was a Dell laptop on Best Buy's Door Buster last year for $359.99, claiming they slashed $170 from the original price. Ars Technica reported last week that another Dell laptop was on sale for $549.99, originally from $829.99. Granted this is still a higher absolute price, but the percentage that was chopped off is basically the same between the two. And a few months ago they reported a sale on the iPad Mini 4 for $299, which granted, is $25 more than the Best Buy sale, but that's still a pretty good deal.

I find BF/CM an illusion because so many things go on sale. But if you watch those that keep track of sales for you or do your own sale tracking, then BF/CM seems like a joke.

Waiting until Black Friday is still worth. I bet I can get a 1070ti that normally cost 400-430 for 350-380 usd.

Oooh, the parts I'm looking for mostly are the gpu and ram. The cpu I'm planning on getting is already a good price, so its not really on my list.

Eh, I already have one 1080p and a 1440p both at 60Hz, so maybe if there is a really good deal, I will
