Best looking 4k games

imseeingthings

Hey guys, I've upgraded my whole setup, and I've gone 4k. I'm running an 8086k, 2080, and 32gb of ram with an asus ROG PG27AQ.

What games could you recommend to really impress me in 4k?

Thanks!

AC. Origins origins looked good in 4k, so the new AC game probably looks good, no idea about the story though.

I only see your reply if you @ me.

I'll list you some of the games I found good looking (gameplay not included)

Far Cry 5 (with higher FOV)
Dying Light (higher FOV)
Battlefield 1 (duh)
Wolfenstein 2 The new colossus (impressive)

Mirror's Edge 2 (not that impressive actually but still)
Need for Speed Payback (have to point out that the gameplay is bad)
Assassin's Creed Unity/Origins (Hard to admit it)

Sniper Elite 4 (meh)

Shadow/Rise of the Tomb Raider (The vibe from the Tomb Raider 2013 is kinda gone for me, but still it is immersive game)

For Honor

Alan Wake (The graphics are out of date)

The Witcher 3 (duh)

Not a game, but, have you tried Timespy? That'll impress.

I heard the new AssCreed is really beautiful, not sure about the gameplay. You can also check out Witcher 3, and Shadow of the Tomb Raider.

Assasins creed is actually really fun. That being said even with a 2080ti it struggles to hit 60 fps on very high settings....

Metro redux games

dying light

Fallout 4 if you can tolerate the gameplay

arma 3

Ghost of a tale (really good fun.)

mad max

Splinter cell blacklist

Planetside 2

natural selection 2

Doom

wolfenstein

mirrors edge

escape from tarkov

Dark souls 3

Maybe spec ops the line

shadow of mordor

i have a few other games that look good but I think this list is pretty complete. I’d say definitely try ghost of a tale though. It’s a great game & looks really good. I can’t believe it’s unity & made by 1 developer

These videos pretty much nail your question. I will add that Warframe looks absolutely gorgeous in 4k, runs very smoothly and is optimized almost flawlessly.
