I know that Google has not officially announced any time frame of when this issue would be fixed although please fill out the poll of estimation of how much downtime is going to occur (further) before normal operation returns.

are servers back up yet?

As of right now, the servers that host the YouTube video streaming platform are down and not functioning normally. The issue has been acknowledged by Google although the issue has not been solved yet, they have not officially stated when they estimate they are going to fix it so the time that the servers are going to remain down for is unknown.

Hope this information post was helpful  ?,

Agreed. I don't even want to think of a world like that. Though the internet will never shut off, to many sub networks and intranets.

It most likely would be as it would cause serious loss of income for many expenses caused due to downtime where potential sales could be made or for others could be an inconvenience to not have the internet. The probability that all of the servers in the world that are hosting sites going down is very highly not probable.
