*Update* (74 million)Pewdiepie crosses 70 million subscribers on YouTube. Breaks his own record of most subscribed Channel in Youtube History.

Latest update number:

Looks like paying out those click farms have finally.. payed off.

Pewdiepie aka Felix Arvid Ulf Kjellberg, again has become the most subscribed channel on Youtube, previously holding the record of 66 million Youtube subscribers . Pewds channel amidst the chaos of being overtaken by a competitive alternate channel from India called T-series which runs it's channel on Music videos & interviews of Bollywood movies & celebrities is currently sitting at 65 million is the second ranking most subscribed channel in the world on Youtube, Pewdiepie have surpassed 67 Million subscribers on YouTube first channel to do so .

Pewdiepie started his channel on  youtube in the year 2010 on April 29th , He has currently uploaded a total of around 3600 videos in the channel ,  Currently stands around 7th place in video view rank as it usually accumulates around 3-7 mill in average maxing out at around 10 or 11 in view count per video as of late out of all those 66+ million subscribers he has  , His monthly earning is estimated between 33k+ or upto 630k in ad revenue which translated upto 7 mill in yearly earnings approximately at max. but it's a projected estimate according to social blade & is probably not accurate, this excluding the fact that he does merchandises on his own like Chair (only $399), t-shirts & hats & recently his own game release of ASS  yes ASS, All ads up to the revenue. plus social blade doesnt take into account on demonetized videos if i'm right. so it's good  to call it an estimate.

as of late he has racked up around a whopping 18,902,156,357 ( eighteen billion nine hundred two million one hundred fifty-six thousand three hundred fifty-seven) views on his channels contents alltogether

tumblr_inline_p47i0rpFZW1sqf5k6_500.gif

Compared to T-series which employs a whole boat loads of people for content creation & promotion & others, Pewds have no ties with any network currently & works alone to create content with two of his editors editing the videos out for him, Not mention the series of demonetization he had to endure doing "meme reviews"

An official Live Count channel dedicated to Pewds v T-series subscriber count in real time.

T-Series Official channel >>

https://www.youtube.com/user/tseries

Looking at the ratio of  subscription & the audience it caters to , T-series will inevitably catch up to this record sooner or later. it's almost sure that T-series will catch up to 66 mill in about a week or so.

Anyways Is this tech news?  i don't know , it marks a Youtube Historical record break in a global scale, so it kinda is. So what do you think about this? Leave a comment  or your personal thoughts down below.

I'm part of his 9 years old army, although I'm 26 years old. He makes good videos from time to time. The last one was about Betterhelp.

Yeah, I don’t really care for his meme videos, but he’s really good when it comes to this sort of critical content. I think he has really matured a fair bit over the years.

I don't know how the fuck he does it because he actually doesn't post anything high quality anymore and yet he's just raking up the subs day after day :D But I'm happy for him. He has the immunity of being the biggest Youtuber which gives him ability to post literally anything he wants. Which is cool. He often talks about controversial stuff other smaller Youtubers would get sanctioned instantly, but he isn't and can't be.

It's because the way he embrace the criticism. Most of his viewers are watching him for a long time and they saw his genuine thoughts, explanations and "break downs". He is talking to his fanbase as they are real people/friends, not just bunch of people watching him as most YouTubers tends to do, and most of them find warmth in it. Even if he makes 100 stupid low quality videos 1 good video can bring him up again. I bet if he starts uploading more variety of videos rather than daily commentary videos his views would be on Shane Dawson (drama) level.

Even when mainstream media tried to strike him down multiple times and he received backlash for his words, no one went straight up disliking his video or hating him, we all waited for his response and agreed which is more than any YouTuber would want.

Well of course, we are on the same planet that thinks the Kardashians are entertainment, where day time tv still earns millions of dollars for regurgitating the same shit for the last 40 years. Where the jonas brothers and lil wayne pretend to be musicians and millions of kids go screaming.

To be honest I would be embarrassed to be popular when that's the type of thing that people like.   Real you tube channels with real content have less than a million likes, why? because they produce content that real people like to watch and there aren't too many of those around.

I used to think that PewDiePie was a terrible channel too that only made shitty videos where he pretends to be scared and made loud noises because "lol sooo funny xD".

But his content has really changed over the last ~2 years.

Lats week he made a video bringing up issues with "better health" which is suppose to be basically a therapy service online, which many youtubers are currently shilling. He went though the fine print on their website and contracts, he looked up the experience people who have used the service have had, he looked up what people get for being sponsored by them, and really gave a good breakdown of what the service is and why it is bad.

The week before he gave his opinion and views on a very controversial video from Shane Dawson where Shane talked and heavily pushed fear mongering regarding psychopaths.

He used to (still does?) have a "book club" series where he encourages and discuss books.

He engages with the audience and encourage creative thinking and content creation (sure, for the purpose of padding his own content but still).

I don't think PewDiePie gets even close to as much credit as he deserves. A lot of people seem to still have the mental image of who he was years ago, which is completely different from what he is now.

Doesn't he break his own record every day? He's the most subscribed to youtuber, any growth he gets breaks the record... once he gets overtaken this might actually mean something, but until then it's just business as usual...

Don't ask to ask, just ask... please 🤨

Technically yes, but he's correct in saying this will be the last milestone he'll be first to get too

well this is LTT's forum, the biggest tech channel on YT, and still there countless better places to get tech info all with less views even if they don't drop so much stuff.

Get over it grandpa, YT and daytime tv are not the place to be serious.

What are this "real people"? are you implying people how view this channels aren't real ?

Yep, watching some halfwit play a video game is what passes for entertainment these days.  Watching someone do something useful or skilful is real. I would even say watching the esports is real (that's a challenge with winners and those guys are serious who train), but watching other kids play the same games? come on.

i don't watch much YT or day time tv, i take your world it's possible, still it's much easier to just be "entertaining" and it's the times you live in, get over it.

I still don't get the "real people" and "real thing" references.

You've never heard the term real to define something that has some substance to it?  Sometimes people refer to tools as being cheap, plastic, toys or imitations, while they refer to good quality as being "real" tools.  Same with content, a lot of reality tv is scripted, not reality at all, a lot of what people tend to enjoy is cheap, low quality or repeating content and mostly superficial (like watching some one play minecraft or pubg for the millionth time) that would be considered cookie cutter cheap repeating content.  Most of the channels I linked to investigate things that are of interest to certain hobbyists/industries. they educate, they actually make things or repair things and they commentate often in an entertaining way the whole process.

That's what I mean by real content.  Kardashians = manufactured content mustie1 = real content.

Grammar and spelling is not indicative of intelligence/knowledge.  Not having the same opinion does not always mean lack of understanding.
