USB PD vs QC 3.0

I am looking at getting an extra fast charger for my phone, and after looking into what type to get I found out my phone (LG G6) supports both QC 3.0 and USB PD. My current fast charger is apparently QC 3.0 and fully charges the phone in about 1hr 40, but from what I've been reading a USB PD charger is actually faster.
Does anybody have any experience with both?
