shifters compatible with g920/g29 (on pc, not as an add on)

YourNewPalAlex

logitech's own shifter?

EDIT: in case you dont want to go for that obvious first choice, there's this thing from fanatec that runs stand-alone with an adapter:

When you say not-as-addon, surely any shfiter that isn't the Logitech one would be an add on?

The Thrustmaster TH8A can be used on PC as a seperate usb device, which works perfectly. And there are a few higher end products out there that are the same(stnadalone usb). But really, Thrustmaster might be your best bet.

If its a usb device, will it work on every game? Or will it work on the more "loose" games like assettto and rfactor?

depends on the game, some games REALLY dislike talking to multiple devices, but most driving games should at least "work".

I know that rFactor takes seperate devices, and I'm pretty sure Assetto and Project Cars does as well. I remember using at least two of them when I had my own seperate gated shifter.

Honestly the only one I'm not sure on is Forza.

Hm, any bypass. Like something similar to the emulation of an xbox 360 controller when your actually on a cheap 4$ ripoff ps2 controller.

i have tried that, doesn't work with forza, xoutput works with forza but its a bit more complex, you have to put the config, for every button including axis and i axis. IDK if it works with shifters
