Little help with Sketchup Pro 2018...

DARK0717

how do I remove an area with a shape that I created, for example, I made a cube, and I made a circular plane that is 2 inches high, what I want to do is put that circular plane somewhere inside the cube to remove that area where I placed the circular plane. Any help on how to do this?

I don't know if there's shortcut for doing this. The way I have done it, is placing shape at same surface I like to cut with it. Then when they are overlapping, just removing anything inside the shape.
