BO4 Black Out RTX 2080 4k using 10GB Vram?

Is going over the 8GBvram using systems memory like 1.5gb did my video cards just become obsolete? I’m on 4K60hz 60FPS smooth but a stutter here and there using Windows performance to check my video cards vram. Anyone with GTX 1080Ti or 2080Ti how much vram is it using with highest settings in Blackout 4K?

That's just how badly optimized most games are now, even AAA titles are just shit performance for the quality they give.

I just hopped into a multiplayer match on arsenal for testing, and at 3440x1440 120% render resolution, I was at 10 gigs and climbing, pretty much maxed resolution.

meh blackops 4s cut scenes look very realistic and the ingame graphics are the best ive seen in any game yet

You have not seen any games since black ops 2 then

I hope it’s bad optimization I seen people with 11GB of Vram this game is using 10.5GB of Vram even the 2080Ti is getting near its obsoleteness I hope I dont have dish out 460.00 and upgrade to 2080Ti while still running a 4790K.

Let me put it this way, my R9 Fury runs Prey (2017) at 4K with nearly maxed settings (if I go full max it starts to stutter sometimes I assume because of only 4GB VRAM, but the most important visual settings are all maxed) and EASILY get 50-60FPS as a general minimum except the very worst moments of the game where tons of stuff is going on.

 

If my old as R9 Fury can run a 2017 title with fairly good graphics at 4K on max settings, there's no reason this game should take over 10GB of VRAM, especially if you turn even just one or two settings down one notch. Prey is excellently optimized. All CoD games since MW have been absolutely shit for optimization.
