Upgrade an old system will run new graphics cards without problems or bottle necks

My old system I have had for about 4/5 yrs I think. Will I be able to run RTX 2080 and RTX 2080ti to a good use. Or am I better buying a 1080ti or do I need to up grade anything else like ram or processor. Was running 3way SLi 780,s. Having problems with games now.

there will be a bottleneck whatever you do, there is absolutely no escaping that. Just get what ever you feel like it, if you want that ray tracing 2080, if not 1080ti.

Thanks I would mind trying VR I think the 2080 might be a better option with usb c
