Budget CPU for Vega 56

I managed to get a second hand Vega 56 at 348 USD, but I'm trying to stay under a budget. What's the cheapest CPU I can pair with this with minimal bottlenecking? Its fine if it's just a small bottleneck

I would go with the Ryzen 2600 or one of the i5 8th gen CPUs, there both pretty solid choices.

with the current shortages will 2600 be your best bet. with something like a x370 pro carbon and 16 gigs of ram and you'll have a great gaming experience

Yeah ryzen 5 2600 is fine.  Pair it with a good b450 motherboard, maybe 16gb of ram depending on your country's ram situation and there will be no bottleneck at 1080p/1440p
